Our traditional hotel, which was recently rebuilt and equipped to modern standards, has 56 comfortable rooms with 75 beds in total. We also offer a conference room with space for up to 80 delegates. The basement is the home of our rustic bar, the Waldbahnschänke complete with a bowling alley, large-screen TV, a pool table and dartboard.

For more relaxing moments we also have a sauna and solarium available to our guests.

Our stylish restaurant features a wide-ranging and constantly-changing menu with excellent food in a pleasant atmosphere.

The historic Thüringerwaldbahn transports you from our front door right into the heart of the Thuringian Forest with its many attractions and delightful scenery. Gotha´s town centre and Schloss Friedenstein are only a few minutes walk away, as well as the local museums. read more
