Welcome to our family run guesthouse in the colourful industrial town of Wernigerode. Amidst the beautiful Harz landscape one can enjoy a relaxing or active stay. Let us treat you to our choice of foods and drinks. Each day in our separate breakfast room we offer a well-balanced breakfast buffet.We will be pleased to help you plan your visit of Wernigerode and the Harz, whether it be on foot, horseback, car, mountain bike, ski or with the Brocken railroad.
Our in-house multi-sports hall is there for all types of ball games, whatever the ball size! Squash and tennis courts, a bowling alley and an indoor riding stable are all available nearby.
The owner offers guided mountain bike tours of varying levels of difficulty, and in winter these tours can be made with cross country skis.
For 6 nights with half board paid we offer the seventh free (or 14 days for the price of 12)
Our rooms are decorated with light pine furniture, each has an ensuite. Being a former artisan’s grain water mill, the rooms are of varying sizes. They are bright and friendly; some are over the rushing waters of the Zillierbach. Our team is happy to help you with any special requests.
We offer you traditional cuisine, with some local specialities. Our half-board is often in the form of buffet. We are happy to meet vegetarian and special dietary requirements. Our local Hasseröder Pils beer and other local, national and international drinks are always available.
Breakfast is included in room rates.
