Directions

From the port or Airport, take direction Fira.

Once you are in Fira, you will find a sign for the village of Oia, on the northern end of the island.

About 5-8 minutes from Fira as you ascend the hill you will come to the bus stop of Imerovigli.(little white bus shelter).

The main road that you are on takes a sharp curve to the right and decends a steeps hill.

Do NOt continue.

Just past the bus stop you turn up to the left.

On your right is a fairly big church.

YOu continue on this small road, past a platia on your right, past a basket ball court, through a narrow passage for only one vehicle and at the end of that you turn left.

Keep driving (1,5minutes) until you get to a round about.

Best to park here.

From this area you will find the steps that descend to the caldera pathway.
