I stayed at this hotel for one...
I stayed at this hotel for one night in May 05. Location wise, the hotel is tucked away in some side street. There is no taxi rank outside the hotel. But you can access the MTR.
For the price there are better choices for hotels in the Wanchai district, like Noveltel Century or Wharney. I won't be staying there again

while in Hong kong i had the privalege of stayinng at da charterhouse hotel , i frind da staff very professional and helpful , the rooms are clean the service is excellent also its in a convient location close to the train station . i would recomend the hotel to anyone,its been a pleasant experience .

It was a comfortable stay at Charterhouse during my holiday in Hong Kong. The room is reasonably spacious and well-equipped. However, it would be better if there is a hairdryer provided in the room. The reception staff is also helpful and kind to let us checked in before the normal check-in time.
Charter House is conveniently located to convention...
Charter House is conveniently located to convention center and kept reasonably clean. That is good part. However, it needs little bit of renovation and repairs. This was my 2nd consecutive year stay with them and I found same kinds of improvements still needed. In rooms also, the quality of bedding and blankets needs to be improved. Besides these issues, every was normal and ok. The staff was also good and very cooperative. I will definetly stay with them again but the improvement I mentioned above would be an added asset to the hotel.

Only my second visit to Hong Kong...
Only my second visit to Hong Kong and my first stay at Charterhouse. I felt the location was one of the best things about it - really ideal. I found the porter to be exceptionally helpful and when I requested something from housekeeping it came immediately
Good location near Happy Valley/Causeway Bay. Reasonable value. Rooms a bit tiny, but utilitarian. Friendly staff.
Good hotel with good location near center...
Good hotel with good location near center of business and entertainment of Hong Kong Island. The staff were efficient and friendly and the location is fairly good; however the room size is inadequate (especially for the "deluxe" room that I had). Excellent staff. Free Internet on ground floor for hotel guests. VERY good for this money (for Hong Kong)!

very good location , 5 minutes to walk to causeway bay mtr station.the room is very clean and there is all you need (safe,tv,tel,personnal clim,tea maker,etc...)

Clean hotel in a good location. Staff were helpful. They have a business center in the basement where you can access the internet for free.
This is the second time I stayed...
This is the second time I stayed in The Charterhouse and it gave me a pretty cosy feeling, just like going back to your own home, as everybody is giving you a sincere smile, anyway, I would definitely recommend this hotel to my friends as the staff at the concierge even voluntarily lend me an umbrella as it was raining out there. Good hotel with great promotion at this moment. Take it!
A nice cozy hotel just 5 min...
A nice cozy hotel just 5 min walk to the heart of Causeway Bay, Time Square Shopping Mall and many other major departmental stores around that area. In fact, there are too many around to name them all. From bookstores to toys to fashion to sportshop, music shops, watches etc. You name it, it is all around. A public swimming pool is also located near by for those who wants to go for a swim. If you want a nice workout, there is a gym in the hotel.
The room is clean and pleasant with all the basic neccessities such as electric kettle, hair dryer, fridge, TV with cable channels and safe. The staff in the hotel are helpful and efficient in their work. Rooms are cleaned and newspaper, The South China Post if I'm not wrong is handed out to your door front daily.
Overall, the hotel has good service and a good value for what you pay for by Hong Kong standards. Will definitely recommend everyone visiting Hong Kong to book this hotel.
