I liked the room because it was bigger than your usual budget hotel. Unfortunately i was very unhappy with the state of the carpet. It has not been cleaned for a while although the rest of the room is clean they have not vacuumed.
They were also busy putting up shower doors and the noise was awful with the headache and they insisted on putting our shower door the only day we were staying there and i was resting with my headache.
There is also a pretty strong smell of cigarettes although i did not see anyone smoking.
The floor lamp was also not working and there was only one electrical outlet.
The wifi was very good and strong.
The tram is right outside and the airport bus is right across the street.

pay for what you get
I booked this hotel very very very last minute - 30 minutes before checking in and it got through. This is fantastic! Room was only OK and I was surprised that there were NO windows in the room and I was not informed. The TV had only local channels. it was not that convenient as the location was all the way tucked in a corner of HK island - no MTR, only taxis and buses. Other than that, its a case of pay for what you get.

a top value of money
You'll get a top value of money staying in this hotel. It's a small budget hotel, but you will get a good standard of cleanliness and good room space. It also provides free web corner in the lobby (where to 'stay connected' is important even when you're on holiday).
Location wise, it's a bit far from the city center, but still that doesn't give you a downside of this hotel because buses and tram are right in front of the hotel's door. It connects you to Ferry Terminal, Central, Admiralty and also Causeway Bay. That four points I mentioned can brings you to anywhere of Hongkong's best.
Only one downside I would say, that is the hard surface of the bed.

It is a cheap alternative to the other more expensive hotels in Hong Kong. A friendly and surprisingly plush looking hotel (for the area)with no facilities apart from having computers in the lobby providing free use of the internet. The room was a reasonable size, very tidy, and the double bed was incredibly comfortable. The tv had only a few channels, and only one of those had English speaking programmes on a part time basis, and they tended to be business and news - so no movie channels. The location, Kennedy Town, was not ideal, but saying that, a taxi home would generally not cost more than 40 HKD from the night spots. Alternatively, there were regular buses and trams.

This is my first trip to Hong...
This is my first trip to Hong Kong, I stay in this hotel mainly because the price, may be they are doing promotion during my visit, but i think i would strongly recommended to those who looking for a budget stay. If i would rate this hotel, i will give 4.5 stars upon 5. I minus the 0.5 for its location and facilities. However that is not an important point. The things i dislike about Hong Kong's hotel is that they didn't provide any breakfast. Cosco hotel only have limited room, make sure you booked your room earlier. The hotel doesn't have any restaurant, gym room and swimming pool. For myself that is not very important, however i hope that the hotel will establish a restaurant soon so that it is convenience to customer. The hotel is located in Kennedy Town which is not very far from the central. There is not MTR station there, but you can easily take a tram ride just opposite the hotel to Sheung Wan and then interchange to MTR line. Tram only cost HKD 2 per person per ride. Overall i think this hotel is worth to stay because the room is very clean, quite, good atmosphere and furnished long bath, lighting, mini fridge and TV.

Very friendly budget hotel. Room clean with TV (1 English channel)and en-suit. Rooms only - no beakfast/dining but fridge for own breakfast provisions. They provide boiling water in a thermos but could do with a kettle. Beds are hard as usual in HK, but you get used to it and they keep you cool. Room has air-con and our room was quiet. It's 10 to 15 minutes bus or tram from MTR at Sheung Wan. Ok for us as our daughter is living in Kennedy Town but it's quite isolated from the hub of HK. It's a budget western-style hotel but with very Chinese twists and friendly English-speaking staff. Free computer in the lobby.

This hotel ideally suited to budget travelers, but it seems only budget rates are available if you book in advance. You won't get it at the door if you just turn up. With 2 heavy suitcase, me and my wife had to fight the glass doors open whilst the receptionist looked on. Service was poor, and receptionist would rather answer the phones rather than try and sort out your enquiry as you stand by the desk looking like a lemon! Other than that, it's ok! ;)
