Hotel rooms were clean and spacious.   I would definitely come again as given the quality and standards of the room the price is very reasonable.  In comparison to most hotels in hong kong it's a two thumbs up.

Stayed at Park Lane Hotel for three...
Stayed at Park Lane Hotel for three nights in early September. Location is ideal, one block away from MTR (Causeway Bay) station and very close to Time Sqaure and other shopping malls. Hotel staff have been very helpful and courteous. I arrived super early the 1st day around 7:30am, and they were able to arrange a room for me right away without any additional fee. Room is spacious but views aren't too impressive. But then again, I wasn't paying for a full ocean view room anyway. All in all, I highly recommend this hotel.

We went to Hongkong in early Jan 2005. The hotel room was nice and clean (very friendly cleaning service ladies & guys), some of us got the harbour view (have a little dinky rooftop bit, but beautiful view of the kowloon harbor side), and some got the Victoria Park view, where you can see a little tai-chi action in the mornings. The bathroom is a nice size with bathtub (very good for kids, I have a 2 year old daughter) and very bright and clean (ours has the glass wall with curtain pull). While we didn't dine or had breakfast there, it is very near to lots of eating options (best of all, it has a small Hagen-dasz cafe at the side entrance). Very near the MTR entrance (1 min. walk to 15, depending on shopping distractions ^_^). Great shopping area,  we go back to the hotel often for a short break (mainly naptime) for 1-2 hours and go out again in the evening for dinner and more shopping. Will definitely stay again in this hotel for a shopping trip to HK in the future.

All in all, Park Lane is a...
All in all, Park Lane is a very good hotel, one that I would be very inclined to stay in on my next visit. Some of the positives: From the Great George street side-exit, it is a 1 block walk to the train station There is an excellent vegetarian restaurant about 2 blocks away (Kung Tak Lam Shanghai Vegetarian Cuisine). It was so tasty, I went twice despite my typical desire to eat dinners that include meat. The room was large by Hong Kong standards and very reasonably priced Staff was courteous, responsive and efficient As for the downsides: They itemize you to death to make up for the lower cost of the room. For instance, the minibar drinks were expensive, as was the business center's charge for internet access/checking email (easier and cheaper to just check email from a cyber café or the public library). All in all, a very pleasant hotel stay.

This would be a great hotel, location...
This would be a great hotel, location of the hotel is perfect. Views of Victoria Park and the harbour can be enjoyed from most rooms, which happen to be among the most spacious in the area. One new key feature in some rooms is the original all-in-one glass washbasin and counter, very interesting. We loved the location, it was a little pricey but book with the website it will bargain.

This is the heaven from the busy...
This is the heaven from the busy crowd.The location of the hotel is perfect, very close to everything. Its simple elegance and lavish furnishings provide tranquility and comfort for complete relaxation.  Rooms are bigger in comparison wiht the other Hong Kong hotels. The staffs were friendly and professional. I will recommend this hotel to anyone who love the luxury hotel around central of HK.
