Enjoy our stay at City Garden Hotel
Convenient hotel, worth your money though room a bit small but good compared with conditions in Hongkong. Really good location, close to MTR (Fortress Hill station - 10 mininute walk) just round the corner and cross two streets. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Good complementary service (like free shuttle bus (H2) when you take MTR from airport to Central station, the bus will take you to the hotel free of charge - back and forth). The only things are the bathroom is rather old (need renovation) and the swimming pool was closed for maintenance during our stay.
My HK City Garden stay
Hotel needs to update with the times seems begining to run down, Lobby is okay but a close look shows how old the decorations and surroundings are.
Rooms definitly needs to be redone.

Superb hotel in a great location
When I lived in Hong Kong, I used to enjoy the City Garden Hotel's buffet lunches. I have now discovered their buffet breakfast and dinner. My room was very high quality, the service was very helpful indeed and the hotel's location is ideal. I would definitely stay there again.
Fairly good stay
My expectation was high since it said that original price of room was P 21,000 and was slashed to P 5,000 a night. In the Phils, the P21,000 a night room is really a knock out.
So for a P5,000/night room, it was just OK. Just right.
It was walking distance from a lot of shopping centers and especially from the MTR which is important. Oh I enjoyed the free shuttle from hotel to the Hong kong Train Station.

Best value hotel
Room was big and spacious. I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel and it's definitely my first choice in HK.

A twin Bed - we had a double on
a non smoking room - we could smell that it was a smoking one
and to end up with this survey, we had to pay for the wifi. Which is a non sense because even guesthouse offer it free of charge.
