Size of the room adequate and very clean . Just little bit run down.
Location is very good and comfortable. U can just go around hongkong island by Ding2 (tram).
From the airport I use bus no. A11, drop off at station 12, the hotel just step away on your left side. There's a 24hour restaurant on the Corner. Just walk right side from the hotel and turn right at the corner.

Free internet is a great feature, even if it was cabled. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Serves the purpose for a single traveller.

Great deal, great location, awesome room
I am absolutely delighted with my 5 nights stay at Walden Hotel which I could easily conclude it with a statement, 'Great Price, Great Location, Awesome Room'. Although the reception staffs looked a bit 'cool' at the beginning, but the services and assistances provided are friendly and effective indeed. If you are okay with Causeway Bay atmosphere (could be a bit noisy), then I think this is an ideal 3 star hotel for you to stay in especially business travelers as well as small family or couples Just as travel tips, you can take a airport bus, A11 from airport and land down at the 12th station (hotel is just steps away in front on your left). In order to get yourself to airport, you can cross the road to the opposite and take the E11 bus directly to airport terminal (the station just in front of MX fast food restaurant)

not value for money
room was very very small with very small bathroom. no restaurant in the hotel at all. you cant evern get sandwich or biscuits. u have to go out for everything. location is good. but such a small room was very expenssive and not the value for money

better bang for dollar
overall was a good exp. however, i was surprised that 3 weeks ago i was made to buy a cable for the internet which was free and good! but this time, i was given a cable. same hotel but different practice?

Walden is centrally located @ Wan chai, abt less than 10 mins walk to the wan chai station. the staff are friendly and helpful. however, i think the room was small and crampy. on the whole, its value for money.

a total disaster in all aspects
The room is very dirty and the towels are smelly and damp. In all hotels I have stayed, normally the hotel will offer 2 free drinking water bottles but this hotel charged me for HK$15.- per bottle....The front office service is very rude and totally has no customer service at all....I will never stay in this hotel again...and will always remember Walden Hotel forever so that I will not make a mistake in booking this hotel again and will also tell my friends not to stay here...There are other hotels nearby that are much better in all aspects with similar prices...I will strongly recommend anyone to try to avoid to stay at this hotel...

Room size & bathroom too small !...
Room size & bathroom too small ! free internet but need to rent the cable for HKD 30 ! But is a convenience place to travel around in HK island.
