Service was great, and discrete. Everything that I asked for, they let me leave my bags until late the next day, and weren't at all obtrusive - you can get to the rooms without having to walk through a reception area.
The room was a little scruffy around the edges - the blinds were bent where people had forced them to open the balcony doors, and there were some scuff marks on the paintwork - which is a shame, because otherwise it was lovely. The bed was big and really comfy, the bathroom was small but impeccably clean and I liked the decor. A bit quirky, but I'd rather that than the standard hotel stuff. I particularly liked all the black and white photographs of 'Old Wan Chai' in the stairwells. Free wireless was fast and worked without problems.
Other have complained about the stairs... if you're on the fifth floor there are a few and there isn't a lift, so beware if you have huge bags or problems with stairs. There's a great view of the bustle on Wan Chai road when you get there though.
Finally, I loved the area. Wan Chai and Causeway Bay have everything from busy street markets to high end shopping malls, historical buildings thrown in with the brand shiny and new. A great place to be based.
