Awesome Hotel, Highly recomended
Great Hotel! In a prime location, 2 mins from the MTR and tram services Very Central to shops and restaurants. The room was very clean , cleaned daily in the afternoon, very nice staff and helpful. Fridge and safe in each room which is great. TV has some English channels.
We stayed in a double room for five nights the room was small however its fine if you are just sleeping there. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Clean room, comfortable and clean bed. Quite enough for one person as you'd spend most of your time outside. Would be a tight fit for 2 people but possible. Shower is hot but also a very tight fit and short.
Location is convenient too. Nice little shared balcony which is good for a morning coffee.
Overall, in expensive Hong Kong, it's suitable for a single traveler. I'd prefer The Wharney if there's vacancy.

Good value
Stayed here for the Seven's. Reasonable price and a clean modern room in a very convenient location. Comfortable bed and a good shower. Very compact with no window and noisy with traffic and road works outside but that's the compromise. Reception is still being built so took a few minutes to find the side entrance. Not somewhere I'd bring the missus for a romantic weekend but as a place to crash it's a good spot.

Rooms were particularly small, had not experinced that in HK before - receptionist not welcoming. Asked for help to book taxi and asked now? Cost was USD100 - you get what you pay for I guess. Though it was room for one only. Room was on street and very noisy, suggest double glazing would help a lot.

Clean Rooms. Value for money.
The hotel rates is relatively lower compared to other hotels in hongkong. I did not tried walking to wanchai mtr station as i'm too lazy to walk, so i spent my money on cabs. Personally i do not like the location cos i think it's not a stone throw distance to the mtr station and there's nothing much to shop at wanchai. But by adding the cab fares together with the hotel rates, it's still worth it. The rooms are clean and there's free wifi for iphone (yeah!) Which many hotel doesn't provide such service for free. The rooms faces the main road but there's no horn-ing etc at any point in time during my stay. I had pleasant sleeps every night. The hotel does not have a proper lobby, you have to walk up 4 stacks of stairs in order to get to the reception. But there's an indian doorboy who'll help you carry your luggage when you leave the hotel (i think he only works in the day cos i don't see him at night). I think i'll try this boutique hotel again, but in another location cos i seriously don't like wanchai. Haha! But you've to let cab drivers know the exact address of the hotel, else you'll never get there! Remember, it's wanchai road number 137!

A great place to stay
Accommodation is a 5 minute walk from the station. There were about 30 steps up to reception (the rest of the floors had lift access) but it looked like there was a new reception area on the ground floor due to be opened shortly after we checked out. Staff were polite and friendly.
Room and bathroom were small (but what do you expect in Hong Kong!) but extremely clean and tidy. Room was cleaned and tidied daily, and towels and sheets replaced daily. They supply shampoo, conditioner and body wash, but you need to take your own bar of soap if you don't like body wash.
A telephone was placed in the room on the 3rd day of our stay, but this didn't worry us as we made no phone calls.
There was some road noise, but this wasn't a problem for us on the 9th floor, and we also were out during the day.
There are some English channels on the TV - Bloomberg, Australia channel, a movie channel and National Geographic.
The free internet was a bonus (except for those rude guests [possibly staff?] who sat on it for over an hour and a half - there were two terminals available.
There was a small fridge in the room which was handy for keeping drinks cold.
There was also a hair dryer, and DVD player in the room, but we didn't use either, so can't comment on these. There was also a small table and two chairs, but we used the table to place one of our suitcases on because of the lack of space.
There is a tram stop about 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
All in all, a great place to stay, and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
There is a Marks & Spencers food store about 5 minutes walk from the hotel also (just a bit further along from the station) for those of you who want something quick and easy and non-Asian for a snack or meal.

Cramped for room
Mingle is less of a hotel than a rabbit warren of tiny rooms. Access from the street was via a steep flight of narrow tiled steps up which I had to carry my luggage to reception. The brash and ill-mannered bellhop was no help at all. It was a very unfortunate introduction to the hotel. Reception was generally courteous and efficient -- depending on level of English proficiency. I had to then make my way though a business centre to get to the elevator and thence to my room. Clean and well equippped, nice little bathroom but little else in the room apart from a big bed. No space for luggage so hoisted it into a cupboard. On a more positive note, Mingle is close to some pleasant Chinese restaurants and not far from Wanchai MRT and trams. Easy to get to Central and to Kowloon. Recommend buying an Octopus card. I had my laundry done at a small business a few doors from hotel and also a good haircut from a nearby barber.

Once i got used to the size...
Once i got used to the size of the room which was ultra small compared with all the other hotels I have stayed in Hong Kong it was very serviceable. However there was no breakfast, no laundry facilities and no one to help with the luggage. The staff were very friendly and helpful and did help me with my luggage and to get a taxi even though they were the girls behind the desk and I do not think that was there job. Great having free WIFI in Hong Kong and all controls usuable from the bed. Not a good size for 2 people, the standard rooms definitely only suitable for one.

The location of the hotel is on...
The location of the hotel is on a busy road. It can be difficult to find if walking and if you have heavy bags, it can be difficult getting to the airport, bus or train station. But in terms of the room itself, I think the hotel was wonderful. Big bed with large TV and excellent lighting. Wan chai is a good area to visit in Hong Kong with decent restaurants and bars. Overall a good hotel, would be better if they offered travellers some way of getting to their next destination rather than leaving them on their own.

New and upcoming boutique hotel chain. Located at the heart of Wanchai district. About 5 to 10 mins walk to MTR (exit A3). Many good eateries nearby which open till late at night (if you want supper!). The room is pretty small with an even tiny bathroom. But everything is neat and clean. Room is hi-tech and I really appreciate the free broadband access. Would definitely recommend this hotel to those looking to stay in Hong Kong island and close to the financial district.
