A great place to stay
Accommodation is a 5 minute walk from the station. There were about 30 steps up to reception (the rest of the floors had lift access) but it looked like there was a new reception area on the ground floor due to be opened shortly after we checked out. Staff were polite and friendly.
Room and bathroom were small (but what do you expect in Hong Kong!) but extremely clean and tidy. Room was cleaned and tidied daily, and towels and sheets replaced daily. They supply shampoo, conditioner and body wash, but you need to take your own bar of soap if you don't like body wash.
A telephone was placed in the room on the 3rd day of our stay, but this didn't worry us as we made no phone calls.
There was some road noise, but this wasn't a problem for us on the 9th floor, and we also were out during the day.
There are some English channels on the TV - Bloomberg, Australia channel, a movie channel and National Geographic.
The free internet was a bonus (except for those rude guests [possibly staff?] who sat on it for over an hour and a half - there were two terminals available.
There was a small fridge in the room which was handy for keeping drinks cold.
There was also a hair dryer, and DVD player in the room, but we didn't use either, so can't comment on these. There was also a small table and two chairs, but we used the table to place one of our suitcases on because of the lack of space.
There is a tram stop about 2 minutes walk from the hotel.
All in all, a great place to stay, and would have no hesitation in recommending it.
There is a Marks & Spencers food store about 5 minutes walk from the hotel also (just a bit further along from the station) for those of you who want something quick and easy and non-Asian for a snack or meal.
