Satisfactory experience
Stayed there for two nights from 20-22/2. I was quite happy with the room as i wasn't expecting much for such a basic hotel. Good for short trips as you'll probably be spending most of your time outside. However, the toilet was rather disappointing because the sink was too small and there wasn't any proper partition for the shower area which was only 'separated' by a shower curtain. The entire bathroom floor will be wet whenever you take a shower and especially if you use the rain bath.
customer service was pretty average as well. Although i wasn't expecting a 5-star hotel type of hospitality, basic etiquette such as speaking in a nicer tone will be much appreciated. I called the front desk to ask for a late check-out and was rejected by a harsh "we don't have late check-out here." on the phone by a female front-desk officer. She didn't even bother to apologise or be nice about her reply. Totally lack of customer service-mindedness and eq.
however, if you're looking for a centrally-located hotel that's rather near to the mtr, this is a pretty good option. The nearest mtr station is wan chai and it's in the middle of causeway bay and central - two prime areas in hk island. Besides, it's also just a station away from admiralty station where you can easily switch to the other line to get to kowloon island - where mongkok and tsim tsa tsui are located. In addition, the airport bus (a11) stops right in front of the hotel (9th stop). It makes the entire accommodation experience more bearable.

Terrible beds
My complaint is the small beds! They were Awful! I kept waking up with my legs hanging out of the bed and we had to sleep close together. We asked for separate beds in our booking, but we only could get a small single bed! I would never stay here again. Terrible service!

Simply Good
1) Ease of access to and from Airport Express station - Route No1
2) Friendly Reception - Good english command. Cons: No local map available at reception and no free late check out.
3) Room access - by lift - lift access - only with swipe card. Decent room with space to move around, good wifi connection (free) and good airconditioning. Basic cutleries and a functioning kitchen. Enough shower space ( but no shower screen ) and functioning toilet ( no lock on door though ).

Micaela
The picture of the room is more biggest than reality.
And the name of the room us different in the real official website.
There don't have superior studio room. I paid more for that.
The price is the same of standard room.
P.s the room price is a little higher.

Good Hotel, Good Location
This was my first time staying at The Burlington. Even though I stayed one night only, it would also be a good extended stay place for 1-2 people. The bed was comfortable and the room size was fine. There is a small stove, sink, microwave, refrigerator, and free internet (including wireless) in the room. The room in which I stayed had a window, but it looked at the wall of the adjacent building. So, there wasn't an exciting view of the city. The location is great, being located about a block and a half away from the Wan Chai entertainment area of bars, clubs, and restaurants. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy. Overall, it's a good hotel and I would stay there again.

good for a quick trip
I only stayed one night. Staff was very helpful. If your not familiar with asian style you could be supprised as power turns off when you are not in the room and elevators and hallways are not air conditioned . However only poses an issue in the hot humid summer when I was there. Has cool modern look but the rooms are not that spacey. Bed was not great and might have been rough for multiple nights. The location is great.. in the heart of wan chai directly in the middle of all the nightlife and shopping. The street market is only a 3 minute walk away.

ultimate micro living
This apartment style room was very well finished and looked nice even if it's micro size leaves little room anywhere. Unfortunately the corridors are very echoey and the lift could be heard at times. Overall not bad though.

nice room but lack of efficiency at the reception
nice, well decorated & clean room but not well enough isolated and the noise from the street kept me from sleeping... the hotel is well located though. deceived by the quality of check out service: I had an early fight and was on a tight schedule - the guy at the reception couldn t find my file, then he had me wait for him to go and check the room before letting me go. as the rooms are in the next building it took time. when he returned, he was expecting me to sign documents and to fill a satisfaction survey... no time for that as i already wasted to much waiting on him...
