grear stay at DRHK
It was a very last minute booking due to tight work commitment. My wife and I had decided on a stay on HK island for a quieter getaway, a romantic vacation, with some private visiting of relatives in HK. The overall impression of the stay at DRHK was a very pleasant one, made possible by the well maintained amenities, the good sea view, and not forgetting the excellent team of staff (from hotel check-in to housekeeping, to even the staff attending the shuttle services. I thought the services were befitting to a hotel of excellence recommended for leisure or business). The prices paid was rather steep due to the Festive seasons though.
Details: Room that we stayed was an excellent arrangement for my wife and I. There was good space for our luggage, a good working desk setup that allows viewing of the sea view. Generally, the WiFi was very seamless and uninterrupted, except for the last two nights which showed slight lapses (could have been the high volume usage of guests that checked in). I was able to surf on my ipad and used the docking station briefly for a quick charge. There was a fridge available, very helpful for some cold beverages and snacks for a quick bite after a busy day shopping. We did enjoy some TV services at night and there were generally a good variety of channels to choose from. Newspaper services was provided every day. Meals were great, but would be great to have more variety. The lift service to high floor was very efficient. Check-out was very efficient. The free shuttle to IFC-HK Downtown Check-in was very helpful for us as we had a rather bulky baggage.
In summary, DRHK has made this one week stay in HK a very pleasant and enjoyable one. We look forward to the good services from the staff and great satisfaction on our next stay at DRHK.
