West of Central is the area in northern Hong Kong Island, adjacent to the famous Central. The area is relatively calm and quiet than the neighboring Central, offering a superb retreat from the hustle bustle of the downtown. The Central Market and Western Market here have many emporiums and department stores selling a variety of Chinese products, including artifacts and clothings.
