We stayed in this hotel on the...
We stayed in this hotel on the last hop of our honeymoon. The only redeeming factor for this hotel was the location and the concierge and bell service. I found the check in staff very unhelpful and we were not attended to until we got the name of the manager and spoke personally to him. He was very helpful. The rooms were small, and there are notable "classes" to their rooms. Even within the standard rooms, there are ones which have never been renovated in the time the hotel has been in existence (12 years), there are standard rooms which have had a face lift in the last 5 years, and then there are rooms which have been newly renovated. We stayed in 4 rooms over 2 nights due to the first room having leaky airconditioning that dripped onto the carpet and left a puddle. The furnishings had not been updated since the hotel opened (the bell boy told us that info when he dropped off our bags), and the wall paper was marked and coming off the walls. The second room's door did not function correctly and hence we could not get into the room. The third room was a non smoking room that reeked of smoke to the point that we got sore throats from just being in the room. The fourth room we decided that the stress wasn't worth it and we stopped asking for transfers. Worst hotel ever.

During my stay there were renovations going...
During my stay there were renovations going on which began at 10 am and ran until 4.30 pm. You were advised of this on your arrival. It was supposed to be intermittant drilling. On the Tuesday of my visit after being woken up by a continuous drilling beside my room at 10 am. I then requested a room where the noise would be more muffled. I was accommodated on 15th floor where I exepected to far enough away from the noise so as to enjoy a lie in. However I had in fact being allocated a room outside which the drilling platform was positioned and I could have attended for work, the workers were right outside my window. I was very annoyed that the management, who must have known where the work was been carried out, had move men to such a room. After complaining I was moved again to a side of the hotel which boasted only traffic noise which one can tolerate. I am afraid this would colour my judgement on this hotel. Regards John Hunt

I'm a bit disappointed with the room...
I'm a bit disappointed with the room as it is very small compared to the room opposite us. Have requested for high floor during reservation and upon checking in,but were given 8 floor only. I must say that the bedsheets is quite clean as compared to other hotel I stayed when I was in Hong Kong.

My stay in Eaton hotel was comfortable...
My stay in Eaton hotel was comfortable and overall quite enjoyable...I loved the restaurants there..and my favourite hang out during my stay was at the little eatery..it was very relaxing to just have a drink and simultaneously logging onto the internet provided! Although i had a very late check in..the service provided to amend the problem was swift anf efficient ..My rooms and the facilities provided were sufficient and well quite average really..but i think the toilet seat in my room..i think it was room 731 was outrageously high! but the bottomline is that i would love to stay in Eaton once more!

I arrived at the hotel at 3:15...
I arrived at the hotel at 3:15 p.m. and the room that I have booked was not ready. The reception lady told me to have a complimentary drink at the lounge and the room should be ready by 4 p.m. I waited till 4:15 p.m. and the room was still not ready. Not until I complained that I get to go up my room. When I was using the room's toilet, i heard a knocking sound, as if the next door toilet was being renovated.

The location of the hotel wasn't very...
The location of the hotel wasn't very ideal, it is right in the mid of two MTR stations. I had to walk rather far in order to reach any of the MTR station. Thus, the room that I had been assigned to, was very small, dirty and old. Thus, some of the hotel staffs are great. The most pleasing part of the stay is there are free internet access in the hotel. Nevertheless, for the price that I paid for the room, I really find it not worth the price.

I did not expect the room sizes...
I did not expect the room sizes to be small. There was barely enough room to walk due to the limited space I had. I would like to add that there should be a non slip mat in the bathtub for safety reasons. Since there was no non slip mat in the tub one would have to be careful not to slip & fall. However the staffs were friendly & helpful.

The room was clean but very small...
The room was clean but very small for a 4-star hotel. For 3 nights it was doable. The location is very good (at Nathan and 5-10 min walk to Jordan). When I arrived early afteroon, the room was not ready. So I got another one. The restaurants are good. If the room were bigger, I would stay again.
