We checked in to 2 rooms on the 20th May, we were pleased to be informed that we were upgraded to the business floor. When we arrived to the room the room was a twin room and smelt like smoke. We called reception and they informed us that it was a non- smoking room and that we were in a twin room as there no double bedrooms available. This was fair enough but we would have appreciated it if we were told that we were upgraded due to there not being double beds.
We also wanted to re-arrange our second night stay to another date as we were joining a last minute tour to China. The hotel was unhelpful and said that we would have to deal with the agent we booked with. We sent numerous emails so Asiarooms and they were saying that the hotel were unable to do change the date. So we could not comprehend who could help us. We ended having to check out and losing our 2 rooms on the second night.
We needed to gain access to the internet, and this was at the business centre. Prices were very expensive for just 1 hour!
