This hotel has been around the block a few times, but the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful, especially for HK.

The hotel is ideally situated near to...
The hotel is ideally situated near to the Jordan MTR and along Nathan Road - one of the main road in Kowloon. Great for travellers with young tots and elder folks. However, the hotel is sparsely decorated and is in need for some new furniture. The rooms are also quite small. But on the whole, the rooms are clean and the hotel staff are friendly and helpful.

Excellent location. Just 2 minutes walk to MTR and a lot of shopping and eating places around. Staff are very helpful. Value for money.

Hotel has excellent location with Jordan MRT...
Hotel has excellent location with Jordan MRT station just next door (literally). Also being right on Nathan Road, one of Kowloon's major streets, bus services are excellent. The airport shuttle bus also stops around 70 meters away, and you pay only HKD33 to get to the airport. Considering that HK hotels are generally expensive Shamrock is value for money and certainly recommendable. Some items are not provided in every room (like hair dryer, heater) but you certainly can request for it.

This place was excellent. Very central, clean...
This place was excellent. Very central, clean and the staff are very helpful and speak excellent English. The rooms were not too small, but not large either - perfect for a few days in Hong Kong. Would recommend to anyone wanting a cheap, but clean and well-run hotel. Use the internet booking for the best value. HKD450 for double/twin room a steal for such a good hotel in Hong Kong.

I think it is a very good...
I think it is a very good choice for staying in Hong Kong. The Shamrock is next to Jordan-Underground (you can get very fast to every place in Hong Kong). The ferry is also near to get to other islands. I would recommend it to other friends!!! Thanks asia-hotels.com.

I definitely would recommend the Shamrock to...
I definitely would recommend the Shamrock to a friend. We were there such a short time, so it was difficult to get the full benefit. If we were in Hong kong again, we would stay there. It is very centrally located so that we were able to walk to most places we went. That is very important to us.
