The Stanford Hillview is a decent hotel....
The Stanford Hillview is a decent hotel. Yes the biggest problem I had with it is that you need to climb up a slight hill of stairs. Or you have to roll your suitcase on the street to get to the hotel. That was the shocker for me. The location is convenient because the free Airport Shuttle takes you to the corner of the Knutsford Hotel and you can just walk up the hill. Hotel rooms were small but managable, clean rooms, good that they have non-smoking floors. The hotel staff are very friendly and do speak English and Chinese. Leaving a suitcase at the hotel is also available for only HK$5 a day, which I needed to do because I was going over to Singapore. The location in Tsim Sha Tsui is also convenient because your within walking distance of most parts and the MTR can take you to other parts of Kowloon. When you are leaving the hotel, there is usually a taxi waiting in case you don't want to wait for the Airport Shuttle that will take you to the Airport Express at the bottom of the hill. Other than the stupid hill, the price is decent, rooms are clean, and they have a friendly staff.
