Do no let the YMCA name put you off, this hotel is primely positioned virtually on the waterfront, close to the Star Ferry and Nathan Road. Rooms are of a comfortable size and not cramped or stuffy. Considering that rooms were renovated not so long ago, designs are modern and full of colour. Views overlooking the garden, street or harbour are available - harbour view rooms will cost more. The hotel is clean, neat with lots of facilities including 2 indoor swimming pools. Note that all public areas in the hotel are non-smoking and there are limited smoking rooms. Guests can enroll in hotel courses such as aerobics, wall climbing plus the many services provided in the Wellness Centre. The Salisbury Dining room provides unspoilt views over Victoria Harbour towards Hong Kong Island and serves international buffets every day. One of the few great hotels on Kowloon?s peninsula which is affordable with the facilities a business or leisure traveler requires for a pleasant stay.
