Our stay was very good although only...
Our stay was very good although only for two days. The room was a little small but certainly OK for our short stay. The painting of the room was probably the only thing I ferel let the room down - painted over wall paper but not a very good coverage job. For us it was quite satisfactory for the time wqe stayed. Staff were very helpful at the counter.

Stayed for two nights during early February....
Stayed for two nights during early February. Room was suitable for my needs as I was travelling alone, although it was small in size. Restroom was the only complaint as it was small as in small. You open the door and it could only be opened halfway as it hit the loo on that point. Staff of this hotel were courteous and knowledgable in their day to day keeping of the hotel. I would definitely be back should I travel back to HK alone.

Overall is O.K. which included cleaness, environment, service etc... But the room & bed size are very small while I compared with other hotel in any country although in Thailand or China. I known my room is standard room but I should be bigger.

FOR THE RATE AND JUST A PLACE TO SLEEP AS WE ARRIVED SO LATE IT WAS FINE. ROOMS VERY SMALL BUT WE ONLY ASKED FOR A STANDARD. SO I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND FOR A LONG STAY. IF YOU COULD SEND ME THIS FORM FOR THE YMCA SALISBURY..I WOULD VERY MUCH RECOMMEND THAT HOTEL AS THEY UPGRADED US TO A HARBORVIEW SUITE AND THE VIEW AND LOCATION WERE FABULOUS!

We stayed here from 16 Nov 2005...
We stayed here from 16 Nov 2005 for 3 nights. This is not our 1st choice as the price is on the high side for its mediocre standard, based on the reviews on this web site. Good points: The room is of a decent size and neat. Hotel staff members are efficient and courteous. Hotel is 3 mins walk to Rosary Church (for Catholic Christians). Bad points: Toilet is too small! Only 1 person can be inside at a time. Min 10 mins walk from MTR station at Cameron Rd to hotel at end of Granville Rd. The mattress we had was sunken in the middle! Carpet is old so wear slippers provided. In summary, we will not stay here again unless this is the last resort.

We are glad and thankful that our request for connecting rooms were met. The air-con is strong. Although the room size is on the small side, it is adequate and comfortable. Location wise, it is great! The only problem we had was a wash basin that kept didn't drain very well. Also don't expect the porter to help you with your bags! Oh yes, before I forget, please bring your own shampoo and bath foam. They only supply 2 sachets per day!
