Good location, lots of nice food around
most of the front line stuff can speak good English, we were upgraded to deluxe room, room size is quite good for two pax, location wise - v good, MTR juz need 2-3 mins walk, plenty of eateries all around, it wasnt running on full house, but the housekeeping did not clean the till 3:30pm, we need to call them twice to make-up room!! only wish that (1) hotel can give free internet access like Standford Hotel, (2) hope they can include ESPN in TV channel, hotel provide free transfer to Kowloon Station for taking airport express to Hongkong Int'l airport (cost HKG 70 per pax)

We had a good stay @ Citiview Hotel, especially the Congiege staff was very helpful and polite. Also they were quite knowledgeable providing accurate and good information and direction. Please convey our thanks to the staff.
On the day (18/8/11) when we check @ abt 3pm the registration staff (I did not have his name) notice that my wife birthday was on 18/8/11. He told me that he will arrange a gift for her. However, when I check with him the next day, he told me that the gift was to extend our check out time to 2pm. Isnt it a joke?

Good Location
Although the room was a little small, it was very clean. The location is fantastic. Minutes away from Yau Ma Tei station and walkable distance to Mongkok, Fa Yuen Street and Ladies street. Value for money as well. Good for couples who just want a clean place to stay after a day of walking. Will stay here again next time.

Quality budget stay
Very near to the Yau Ma Tei MTR station, and rooms are very good for the price.

Good location, clean but nothing else
My room was unbelievably small, ie about 4mts square! I was there for 5 nights and its good that I spent so much time out of the hotel unless I would have gone mad in such a small room. I did complain and was told IF I didn't like it I had to pay more, expensive internet also. As my title says......good location and clean but poor service and ultra small rooms.

Cityview - OK
The Cityview is good value for money, but nothing special. My room was average, in fact most things were average. Room for improvement: Breakfast was just about average, food was edible, but could be so much better! A wider choice of fruit. Cereals that looked edible, bacon/sausages/scrambled eggs that could be much much nicer than they were. Mini bar was not stocked. TV - lots of channels, but no choice of films to buy. Front desk in such a rush to answer the phone, they put the phone down on you before you finish talking. Overally I would stay here again, as it was good value for money. But don't expect a luxury stay in this hotel, this is very average! Suitable for business users, or a cheap(ish) short stay to HK.

Definitely will come back
Great accommodation for the budget aware. Close to Mongkok and other shopping areas and also very close to MTR. Very convenient location. Clean and fair room for price.

Cityview Kowloon
Great location, within walking distance of night market & ladies market. Just a minute walk to the Yau Ma Tei subway station, which is great as it practically can bring you to anywhere in Hong Kong city due to extensive network of subway system here. Room wise okay, all basic amenities provided, quite spacious considering it is Hong Kong we are talking about. The check in staff could have been more courteous, it seems like everything was in a rush, but I can understand that due to the arrival of so many guests at the same time. It took about 20 minutes or so when we finally received our room key. Other than that everything was okay, the plus points far outweighs the minus, will definitely stay in this hotel again.
