This is the second time at YMCA...
This is the second time at YMCA Waterloo and stayed at the Tower block which was recently renovated, was happy to note that the interior was tastefully done except the door stopper, need to change to a round top model as it hurts the foot when step on,room size was adequate, glad that the hotel have a non-smoking floor which make the stay very pleasant, staff very friendly and helpful will be back on our next trip to Hong Kong.

Stayed 2 days at YMCA International in...
Stayed 2 days at YMCA International in June. Great location near the MTR. Rooms very clean but EXTREMELY small. Got to climb over my bags to reach the washroom. Greatest let down was each room issued with only ONE KEY. If my family member returns to the hotel earlier and I return after they have slept, I do not have another key to open the room. Hence I got to wake them up. Other hotels issue 2 keys. Checking in is quite a long wait. The front office staff could be more friendly and should smile more readily. I have visited Hong Kong many times. Somehow, this hotel doesn't make me feel welcome. For the same price I would consider another alternative the next time.

Y.M.C.A is located in the Center of...
Y.M.C.A is located in the Center of Shainghai, just walking only 2 min from the hotel to People Square and Nanjing Commercial District. It is very convenient to get around Shainghai. The room wasn’t big but clean, the amenities were fine including Satellite TV, Smoking Detector, IDD telephone and in house movie. The hotel employees were nice and speaking English.    The ensuite bathroom was basic. The price was expensive if compare with the room but if you book with the website it could be bargain.

I stayed here last weekend, I enjoyed...
I stayed here last weekend, I enjoyed my stayed there.  The hotel is situated around Yau Tei Area which was easily to go shopping and commercial center.  The air-conditioned room was fully equipped furnished and clean with ensuite bathroom. The indoor swimming pool is a good size although there are swimming classes during the day. The hotel breakfast was a little bit expensive but the taste wasn’t bad at all.  The Nine  Dragon resturaunt was the place that we could order both Chinese and Western Cuisine. Tip: I would like to recommend staying at the tower room, it was renovated completely very new.

Just spent two days with YMCA International ...
Just spent two days with YMCA International  House and I have to say it's a great little place! Really liked it and the wife did too! That's a good thing because she has been working in the hotel industry for over 15 years. Highly recommend this place for a casual stay in comfort and no hassles! Good Hotel!

A recently refurbished international hotel bearing the trusted "YMCA" brand. Nothing fancy although nothing boring - the hotel has an appeal all its own. Located on the corner of Waterloo and Nathan Road, the hotel is close to Yau Ma Tei train station and all major bus routes on Kowloon side. The rich and colourful district of Mong Kok also with the tag as one of the most densely populated areas in the world is also close at hand. The YMCA has little in the way of food and beverage but you stay here for comfort and value for money. Two types of room exist in the hotel, Tower and Standard. Decor and layout is practically the same for both, the only difference is that Tower rooms have recently completed renovations and Standard renovations are pencilled in for late 2002. A wealth of recreation facilities is a pleasant surprise, although some times of the day are busy due to the private members club. The indoor swimming pool is a good size although there are swimming classes during the day. A reasonable hotel ideal for groups or short stays. Good all round.
