The service was actually very good, as there were always attendants on hand to hail me taxis (almost NO wait time for taxis) and answer questions about directions or other activities / sites available in the area. However, I got a sense that many of the responses from the concierge and front desk were rehearsed or "scripted", so I wasn't impressed. There seemed to be a certain "genuiness" lacking, somewhat. The concierge never volunteered information about touring packages either, until I asked. Furthermore, service in the dining room was lacking as I had to continually "wave" at servers to get water refills, for instance. Food was excellent, though. The deluxe room I had was small. Also, I was very disappointed at the level of information provided about the all of the high tech gagetry in the room, as the bellman didn't inform that the power in the room would be disabled if the key card wasn't properly placed in the "slot". There was also the electronic touch pad temperature control which wasn't explained, nor the little button you push signifying whether you wanted the room cleaned or "do not disturb". Nobody explained any of this. The see through glass wall from bedroom to bathroom was okay, as I was alone. However, if I'd come with a partner, this may (or may not) have been an issue. Lastly, I had significant problems with the television, as when I was turning off all of the various light switches in the room, it temporarily "shorted" out the t.v. I was only able to get it "up and running" again by experimenting with the door "key card". Specifically, I removed it from the slot - turning off all power in the room altogether - and placed it back in the slot. Upon doing so, the t.v. came back on. However, afterwards the t.v.'s pictures kept "freezing" periodically, which was also a major annoyance. Upon checkout, however, without any great hassle the hotel did allow me one extra hour until checkout for greater compatibility with my flight schedule, which was appreciated.
