I stayed in 3 different hotels in HK during my visit, and Langham Place was undoubtedly the best. Location was excellent, connected directly to a shopping complex and MTR station. Rooms were new and beautiful (albeit a little tight). Furnishings were excellent (large plasma screen & DVD player), writing table lamp was nice and bright. The bathroom was luxuriously designed (although a little strange as it had large glass window looking into bedroom, but with retractable blind). The gym was exceptional and well-equipped - with spa, sauna and steam room. I did not have a chance to use the pool as it was undergoing maintenance, but I'm sure it wouldn't have disappointed. There was internet access on level 5, with an office centre also available. If you wish, you could also rent DVDs free of charge, but selection was limited. The lobby was always clean, decorated with fresh flowers which gave off a welcoming scent. We were pleasantly surprised with a birthday cake from the hotel, reflecting the Langham Hotel team's thoughtfulness. Overall, the stay was brilliant and memorable, and I will definitely stay at Langham Place again during my next visit to HK.
