750 HK Dollars and TV remote didn't work
I spent one night at the hotel with my wife and 7 month old daughter. The room was really two rooms, a bedroom and a sitting area separate by sliding doors. We mainly chose the hotel for its location, but we felt that it was a little overpriced even if the room was relatively large.
Our TV remote wasn't working, which wasn't a big deal because we weren't really going to watch TV. However, three remotes later and two visits by houskeeping, they still could not find a remote that was working. I thought that might be acceptable in Chungking Mansions, but not in the Bridal Tea House.

No space, no service. I don't know
Room
Limited walking area.
Extremely limited showering area
Found some dust and cobwebs in the window corner
Heater not consistent - cold water can be felt after few mins
No cupboards, limited hanging spots
A small shelf containing advertising tools, consuming space
Only thing good is about the lighting, which gives the room an overall cost feeling
Hotel
Quiet district, with alot of funeral flower shops
About 15 mins walk from hunghom MTR
Staffs were unwilling to help when we queried for the bus routes available to the area or to other parts of the city
Food was expensive in the resturant

Glad to only stay one night
The hotel was pretty worn and dated, but was clean enough for one night. The night attendant had NO customer service ability whatsoever. He was not helpful at all when I asked questions regarding the internet service. It did not work properly and he did not care to help fix the problem. When I asked about any internet cafes in the area, he just pointed outside and said try there. I asked for specific location and he just ignored my question. I have lived in Asia for seven years and am quite used to lack of customer service skills in certain industries, but this was just plain rudeness. There are a few local restaurants nearby and a convenience store, but not an area of town that has anything of interest.

I wasn't sure what to expect, but...
I wasn't sure what to expect, but this place was quite nice, although I didn't remember paying as much as what is listed on this web-site. The room was well lit with plenty of windows, nice decor and a small desk. It wasn't enough for me to pull out my camera, but the scenery from the room wasn't bad either and the area was generally quiet. The bathroom was quite clean, as was the room in general. Everything in the room worked well (tv, a/c) and overall I didn't have a single problem. Any complaints about the size would come from someone who just isn't used to China/HK, although a person with a lot of luggage might have some trouble. (although not nearly as much trouble as you would have at other places) I am not very familiar with HK and so the location didn't seem to be VERY convenient, but I liked that it didn't seem to be in a typical tourist area. There was some shopping, a few places to eat and a convenience store across the road. The staff didn't seem to speak any English but they were certainly friendly enough. It was certainly worth what I paid (about $100 american) and even if it is a bit more, I would certainly go back.

Loved this hotel. Especially perfect during the night because there isn't much noise outside since it is not located in a busy street. Housekeeping and front desk personnel are very friendly and accommodating, but I think it would be nice if they have at least one English-speaking staff per shift so that exchanging of words won't be a problem. Facilities are great, large and clean rooms. I just hope they have cable tv so that we can atleast watch CNN or any international news delivered in English. There was no laundry service during our 6 day stay there but laundry service stations are scattered everywhere Hung Hom so that wasn't really a problem. Lastly, it's location is very nice, private and quiet, but at the same time, very near from the bus stop. I would definitely stay here again when I go back to Hong Kong...
