Grossly overprice
I booked for 2 night stay from jan 12 to jan 14, it cost me HKD 2100 without breakfast.
The room is small, hardly enough to put 2 medium size luggage. Bathroom is super mini, hardly enough for 1 medium size person. The bed hardly just enough for 2 adult person.
The nearest MTR station is prince edward which is about 400-500 meter from the hotel.
The hotel logo is not obvious, u can not see it at night.
Not easy to find eatery outlet around the hotel.

Clean & decent
The room is clean and decent but is too small, no place for your luggage. Location in a hardware shop area.

It's good for shopping in HK
Near Mongkok, convenient for shopping electronics. Room is small but cozy and clean. Free internet cable is a big advantage compared with other hotels in HK.

Very Small Room and Inconvenient
The lobby and room is so small, can't turn around in the bathroom, location is not that convenient, not near to the MRT station nor the night market, need to walk about 10mins or more to reach prince edward station, not as mention in the hotel homepage, only 5mins walk.
Some of the taxi driver not even know the location of the hotel.
The room's excess card keep bloking, and we have to back to the front desk and ask for help.
Some of the front desk staff are unfriendly, won't return to this hotel again.

Great price for single traveller
Customer service was good with customers but they were talking too casual among themselves, including the use of foul language. Also, a "supervisor-like" staff was yelling & insulting a female staff at the front desk while I was checking-in. Not so cool for the customer, particularly if you understand what they said. But overall, it's a small, clean & reasonable price hotel for one.

Oriental Lander Hotel
I stayed for 4 nights at this hotel with my husband and a 2 yr old child. The room assigned to us was extremely small with zero leg space. Our luggage had to be upright the whole time and any packing needed to be done on the bed. To close the room door, either my husband or me would have to stand in the toilet, otherwise the door cannot be closed at all. The three plus points were the cleanliness, lobby service and the location.

Could it get worse
We booked a Superior Double Room, which showed up pictures of Mansion sized room, however, when we went to the "cell" we found twin beds and nowhere for our cases, other than the 3' x 3' toilet. Of course. I went to see the Manager and protested
only to be told "I should have booked a Superior Triple room", but there were none available that night, but he would find one for the rest of our stay. Well having moved in to this new room and stripped the 3rd bed so we could open our suitcases and move around the room we tried to settle in only to find that the TV was all in Chinese (Cantonese) and nothing could
be done. The promise from Management was that the cases would be delivered but of course that meant getting t hem there myself.
Had I been arrested and put in the slammer I doubt it would have been so bad. Do yourselves a favour - avoid this cell block like the plague.

Stone throw away from Prince Station (10min)
Stayed one week at Oriental Lander Hotel which opened in 2010. Location is excellent as it is very near to Prince Station and lots of place to eat (Coral De Cafe) nearby, hotpots, dim sum @ cheap price and of course, shopping and more shopping (near all night markets). Only drawback is smallish hotel (so far smaller than most HK hotels we stayed in) and choked toilet. Other than that, the hotel room is new. The hotel is about 15min taxi ride from the nearest airport express station which I used to/fro airport. Overall, I'll recommend this new hotel (except for the choked bathing area).

Overall, the hotel is good. It's situated...
Overall, the hotel is good. It's situated near residential buildings and the streets outside the hotel are not too busy. The MTR station is only about 5 minutes walk from the hotel. The only downside to the hotel is the very small bathroom. While a small room is expected in HK, the bathroom was way too small compared to other hotels I have stayed in HK. But this was compensated by the cleanliness of the hotel and the way all the staff spoke English well. They speak better English than staff from more expensive hotels. They also have a cafe on the 2nd floor which serves both western and oriental dishes, so if you're not fond of chinese food, you have other options. I would recommend this to tourists who wants both convenient and budget-friendly accommodation.
