Handkerchief size
The room is handkerchief-size. I have stayed in similar hostels (same vicinity) which offer equilavent service and the rooms are not only bigger but cheaper too! (by almost half the rate this hostel charges!)

???OK?...
HK同事都說重慶大廈危險, 我認為OK呀, 只是電梯不好等, 最後一天被樓上的冷氣滴水聲吵醒...
沒有用餐所以沒評, 長期出差當然不建議, 但短期暫住以價格來說是OK的

It's not great.
The location is very good. But lift is too small and long que all the time. Room is not comfortable. I would rather stay at the hotel even I pay more. I stayed there in the single room, I couldn't change my position on the bed, stuck in the bed. Horrible.

Value for money
Considering the general cost of accomadation Hongkong this is good value for money. Watch out for the sharks on ground level who try to get you off to some other guest house in the building (there are many). Be pateint with the Philipino girl who is supposed to be running the place - she might have to wait for the Landlord to return to sort out any queries. If you book online with Asiarooms.com it could be that they don't know about you until after you arrive. I book 6 hours before arriving and that was the case. Good for the value conscience traveller.

Not for single traveller
Location is great. Room is very small but newly refurbished and clean. However Chung King Mansion is not for single traveller, especially female. There are many foreigners from Africa or Middle East countries in the building as it is full of cheap guest houses. Many times, I was the only female surrounded by men in the lift. Frankly I was scared! I even thought of giving up the room and get another 'safer' place to stay. Luckily nothing bad happened. No doubt that it's cheap accommodation, but it's not worth the fear/worry. Guys, If u are traveling in group and on budget, u can consider this place. Just need to be extra careful.
I didn't know the situation until I reached the place. Else I would rather pay more for a peace of mind.

advice- there are better guesthouses
1st- building has about 25-30 little guesthouses in it, 2 lifts which means u have to line up to use lift.
Internet access not that good, rooms tiny, tiny beds too.
Good location, near subway/shopping/restuarants.

Very small but clean room.
Our room was very small, but clean. This guest house is right in the centre of Kowloon, on Nathan Road. The bus stop for the Express Bus to the Airport is just diagonally across the guest house.

Nice stay
My friend and I stayed at the guest house for 4 days and were very satisfied with the accommodation. The rooms and place were really clean and comfortable. We do not have any problems except for the elevator, too small for many guests but it's a lot better than walking through stairs going up.
