The Worst!
Here's the list of crap I have to face upon stepping into the hostel:
1) Cramp lift that takes forever to come
2) Shady place with suspicious people loitering around
3) Owner claiming that I have not paid for the rooms although I have booked 3 months in advance and had a credit card statement to prove
4) A room for 3 but I had to sleep on the floor with just a thin mattress due to the minuscule size of the room, even though it was for 3 (floor was flithy!)
5) Beds were just a forearm away
6) Toilet was like a detention corner for 1 toddler
7) Tried to cancel the rest of my booking ( booked for 4 days) after a horrible night and refund was not allowed!!!
How wonderful! Totally enjoyed my trip!

Good 4 what u pay for......
This is my second stay at the HK downtown backpackers hostel in Kowloon. So I was prepaired for the staff this time. booked into the hostel at 2.30pm, the staff were friendly, there english was not bad. So i haggled with them for a good room for the same price, just told them i booked the upgrade on the internet. The room was clean and spacious, for 1 person....the room have a double and single bed in it, but not enough room for 3 adults, 2 adults and a child maybe. But overall i could not complain about my experience there. Just dont be fond of TV as the channels on teh cable were limited and only CNN in english, but if you speak chinese you are sorted with the TV. Over all ok place to stay for 1 night at least.

Worst hostel I have stay.
I have book 4 room,The worst hostel I have stayed in my life, the room is very small,the bed filled with bed bugs.Cannot sleep thewhole night.hot water until midnight 1200 and turn on 7 am. complain to them,they shout at us,tell us hong kong land very expensive.also tell us no bug in our room.some of us have move to other hotel to stay ,is cheaper, bigger,clean,good service.

Value for money accommodation
Overall I am satisfied with what I paid and the rooms that I got coz I am a budget traveller. No complaint since the accommodation is at the city centre and other surrounding hotels are very expensive (no choice.)
Space is quite limited for three of us but we just need a room to spend the night..no complaint on that..
They are doing major renovations and there will be changes in the physical outlook by the end of this year...I will definitely come and stay here...

The worst of the worst...
Third floor, block A - I should have known better! The size of the room was half the size of rooms for the same price in the other hostels in the same building. Block A is right on the main street, third floor can't get any closer to the noise of the traffic. Don't stay here, for a little more money I could have had a much better room in blocks B or C.

Good Location
The room was small but sufficient.
Service was good and friendly.
The access to the floor is poor, verry small elevator, too many people. I end up using the stairs.

I think this hotel it's ok and...
I think this hotel it's ok and good for friend and backpacker.Because near the road,MRT,and easy to go anywhere.But not good for family or sweet couple because small and not clean.This hotel keep only garbage but not clean our room.We (4 women) stay four day so it more hair and dust. About bathroom i read it before that difficult to open hot water but i didn't believe.Untill i went there.Yes,very difficult.We lazy to complain to reception because not same block (reception of this hotel is Block A but we stayed Block E).So 3 night we took a bath in cold water.But it's ok.No problem,i know it before. About hotel,i like it but i don't like to stay the same place. About this web,I like it so much because cheap price and i didn't pay money for anythings before go there.First i scare to lose the room but it's still have it.I'm sure that i will use your service again.Thank you so much.
