High Hopes were dashed
When i first booked this property i had very high hopes but shortly after they where dashed. This propoerty is way too expensive for what you get. I would say it is slightly above a back packers property. When you arrive at the hotel there is a disturbing smell of sewer coming from the vent in front of it. There is really no lobby. You enter on the ground floor and there is secuirity to greet you. The front desk is on the 19th floor. This hotel offers no service ehat so ever. There are no restaurants or lounge places on the property. When it came to cleaning my room they completly failed. The first day i said i only wanted towels. She dropped off towels but did not take the dirty wet ones. The second day i was away from the hotel all day until 430pm. When i returned i was looking forward to a clean room with fresh towels. The maid service was not there. I had to call the front desk to ask to have my room cleaned. They did show and clean it then. The room is also very small. Too small. I knew it would be small but it was almost awkward to walk around the bed and computer desk. The location was good but there are many others that offer more for this price range.

Great bath room for Asian hotel nice harbor views!
Great location next to Nathan Jordan. Temple street , star ferry, good view of harbor. Giant marble bath and shower up to western standards.
Room is small however only for sleeping. Beds are typical firm small Asian style.
Staff was fantastic and helpful. Don't believe blogs about the hill, it's not very steep and it takes about 2 minutes walking fully loaded with bags for any normal heathy individual.
But again don't expect a western style hotel, ( except the bathroom!).

Very clean room. Friendly staff. Only complaint is that the walls are quite thin, so there is often noise from the other rooms and hallway. Excellent location. Would stay here again.

Highly recommended!
Really good hotel for the price. Friendly staff, good WiFi coverage (15F), very clean rooms, near Airport Express shuttle station. My only gripes: no complimentary breakfast (since hotel doesn't have a restaurant) and location is uphill. Highly recommended!

This is a brand new hotel located within an apartment building. Hotel rooms are at several levels with the lobby at L19. It is one of the better hotels i have stayed in HK at the rate i paid. One point to note is not to lost the key or keep it as you will be charged. Keep it well. Nice n friendly staffs who took efforts to explain and spokr proper english. Overall, it has been an enjoyable n comfortable stay.

Convenient location but its abit noisy..
the location is great! just be mindful that there is a slope leading to the hotel. Overall the experience is good but the only negative point is that the room sound proofing is not good. we can hear next room tv..and quite noisy in the morning. there are free wifi..thumbs up! will stay here again cos of the location, price, cleanliness and internet connection =)

one night stay
Very nice and clean hotel. Brand new with excellent details and hi level forniture. The room was harbour was filled with a very pleasant smell of freshness.
The window was so wide and huge from floor to ceiling. I really loved this place and definitely will come back again. You will not easily find a better place to stay for this rate in HK.

weekend getaway
Stayed at The Bauhinia in Tsim Sha Shui around January 2011. Overall this was satisfying experience and worth the money. Location wise is good. Lots of shops and restaurants around that area. There's a street(knutsford terrace) with lots of nice fine dine restaurant and some bars and Live band.
Staff were friendly and helpful,they're able to give me all the informations that I needed. The room is quite small for 2 of us and no Internet access at 7th Floor. However you still can get free Internet access at the lobby. :)
