Unfortunately, we were not able to make the most of this hotel, only staying for one night and not arriving until 11pm. However on arrival we were made very welcome and check in was quick and easy. We were upgraded to a Harbour View room, and its location for the view was good. Unfortunately the air con on the windows meant that it was all misted up and we were not able to see much. However when we got up in the morning this had burnt off and the view was perfect.
Though we arrived late we still got a good “snack” meal in the bar, (open till 2 am) and this was very good, not so sure about the karaoke going on at the time though !
The Chez Rendezvous breakfast restaurant was amazing, i cannot think of something i would want for breakfast that was not available, what choice, and eat as much as you like. !! This was included in the price of the room.
We went on a tour in the morning and our departure flight was not until midnight. Despite this, the hotel allowed us to leave our bags and come back and forth during the day to put purchases etc in, although checkout was at noon. On top of that when we returned in the evening they kindly gave us a room to change in and freshen up, shower etc, at no extra charge. Very good service.
Criticisms’? - Only drawback is the decor, it is somewhat old fashioned almost 80's but it is in perfect condition, not tatty in any way.
