I had an enjoyable stay at Harbour...
I had an enjoyable stay at Harbour Plaza Resort City Hotel. The room is clean and the facilities are well-euipped. However, I find the bathroom a bit small. The reception staff was friendly and helpful. It will be my most likely choice when I visit Hong Kong in future.

Thoroughly happy with the hotel. This is our second visit, and consider that there has been a considerable improvement in the courtesy,english speaking and demeanour of the staff since our first visit some two years ago. Although the hotel is located in the New Territories, transport to Hong Kong is readily available by either courtesy bus ( with helpful bus drivers), train or public buses on frequent schedules.Payment can be made by using the 'Octopus Card', which is most convenient. Arrangements by AsiaRooms were exactly as requested. Access to local shopping is also very readily available, with supermarket and fast food outlets close by.

The hotel has no room service which...
The hotel has no room service which is a down fall. The buffet breakfast is suited to Chinese taste, not much western selction. It is also about 45mins by taxi into Kowloon. Although it is very easy to catch the train to the city for shopping, you must change 3 trains and would be difficult for people not familar with Hong Kong. The hotel does have a shuttle bus which doesnt cost much to catch to Kowloon but the last bus leaves Kowloon at 9pm...way too early. The room is great. Very big, nice view of the park. Lovely swimming pool and the hotel is right next to a big shopping centre. Hotel staff werent very good at speaking english which made it a little difficult. I will not stay there again for the only fact that it is too far from Kowloon. Although it is a great location if you have a visa and want to go into China to go shopping...its only 15mins away.

Being part of a service apartment, the...
Being part of a service apartment, the hotel facilities and room was excellent. It is very spacious, something that is hard to find in HK. One must certainly try the gym! The shopping malls below provide for everything. And the service was efficient and friendly. Had a great stay. The only negative point is that it is located quite far. But if one needs to be away from crowds, then this is the place.

It's good but very very very smoky...
It's good but very very very smoky even on the non-smoking floors, esp at nite. Hope the hotel will ask the guests paid $1000 if they smoke in the non smoking rooms and floors.

Excellent hotel, I recommend. The Hotel is a long way from Downtown but we required a hotel away from the hustle and bustle and within easy travelling diastance of Disneyland Hong Kong. The bus station is beside the hotel. You can catch a E33 bus to the airport for a tenth of the taxi fare. The rooms are very large and very comfortale.

To strict on the rules. We were 5 mins late for breakfast and they wouldnt even give us a boiled egg which were sitting there in the bowl. They couldnt switch dates on the breakfast vouchers either. To far from the city.
