I spent 6 nights at the hotel in March.
The room was spacious, quiet and with a view of the park (23rd floor).
Reception directed me to the other the other tower (they are mirror-images in most respects, so there seems little to be concerned about whichever one you are allocated).
Bathroom amenities were good, the shower was powerful and water very hot within seconds.
A two-burner ceramic hob, microwave and larger than average fridge(w/freezer)was more than adequate for my needs. (I believe that utensils etc. are available
on request.
There was a living area with two-seat sofa, and then the screened sleeping area next to the window.
The hotel towers are next to a park, and there is a shopping mall with supermarket and cinema between the towers. There are numerous eateries in the low-moderate price range.
Bus E34 from the airport will get you within about 100-150m of the front door. The fare is $HK13 single.
The journey is realistically about 70 mins. The hotel shuttle takes about 50 minutes outside rush hour, and costs $HK50. There is a desk for the shuttle at the airport. They run on the hour according to the employee manning it.
There is a bus terminus near the hotel, and a light rail line too.
The gym is excellent, and though I did not investigate the pool it looks worth a dip from the pictures.
There was an abundance of storage space, a good safe and several English-language tv channels including BBC24 and a film channel. There was also a Japanese channel and a German one, in addition to the expected Cantonese or Mandarin offerings.
As a previous visitor to HK, I was looking for a relaxing place to stay rather than a central location for HK Island.
I hope I am able to return later in the year. If your expectations are of the Peninsula variety, you are unlikely to be reading these reviews. If you want an hotel that represents tremendous value for money, and don't mind the hour+ journey to the city-this is pretty-well unbeatable.
