Although the hotel is located in the "new territories" it is a good place to stay: 1)good quality for the (low)price. 2)Better air the in the city and less "hustle". 3) Shoppingcenters next door 4) several restaurants next door 5) own hotel shuttle bus into town and airport 6) room with microwave, watercooker, safe.... very complete. Disadvantages: 1)no connection to the town by train or metro. Ok, when you want to travel by "local bus" or "hotel shuttle". 2) "City" ist 1 hour away. 3) "no bar in the hotel". The bar in the "tower" next door is not cosy. 4) no flexibility in checking outtimes. 5) lot of guests, many weddingparties...

The hotel was great. The staff were all friendly. It is well worth the money and it is nice to be out of the hussle and bussle of Hong Kong itself. The location could have been a bit better as it wasn't very close to the train station however they run a shuttle service which is very handy.

I was visiting Hong Kong and Shenzhen...
I was visiting Hong Kong and Shenzhen for some shopping, but unfortunately it was peak season (October)and the main hotels on Kowloon were pretty full and very expensive. Staying at the Harbour Plaza Resort City was a very pleasant experience. There is plenty of transport available right at the hotel's doorstep, and the rooms are comparatively large,modern and well equipped. Only being able to speak English wasn't a hinderance, as staff were pretty fluent in English. The hotel is close to hong Kong, and only 30 odd minutes from Mongkok and lower portion og Kowloon. It takes about 40 minutes to Hong Kong Central. As well there is a large mall within 50 metres of either tower of the hotel, providing all your needs at excellent prices. I would totally recommend this hotel as an alternative to staying closer in to Hong Kong or Kowloon.

Nice Hotel, the shuttle to Tsim Sha...
Nice Hotel, the shuttle to Tsim Sha Tsui should be free though as they are operating with a minimum passenger anyway. It's a bit far but overall OK, it's especially near to the WetLand Park. To travel to the City you should ride the Light Rail from Ginza station to Tin Shui Wai (705,706,751) and then take the KCRC to Nam Cheong to reach the Yellow line.

The staff were really helpful, we were upgraded to a deluxe suite and it was a beautiful room. Although it was equipped with microwave, fridge, cook top, there was no utensils/dishes etc to enable us to make use of the facilities.

Our 7 days stay in this hotel...
Our 7 days stay in this hotel was enjoying, staff great, shopping and dining was very convenient. Since we have time, the 40 minutes shuttle service to downtown did not bother us. The complaint we have is about Asiarooms. We thought they are an efficient company. But repeatedly, they could not book any hotels for us in our 17 days jouney through Vietnam.

Overall experience are good. Room is big and clean. Only bad thing is a bit far from city, it take about 45mins to reach city. But good rate even during peaks season. highly recommended for family tour.

Room was very spacious and clean. Staff were very helpful and spoke good English. This hotel is a bit far from the city but there is a good public transport system just outside which is very easy to use. The shuttle bus service to Kowloon was very useful and the fare is reasonable. The microwave in the room was also useful. I would definately stay at this hotel again.

I was very pleased with the hotel....
I was very pleased with the hotel. The room was very comfortable. I enjoyed having the kitchenette. The shuttle service was very prompt. It made getting to the downtown very accessible. I would recommend this hotel as a good value for the money.
