Although Panda isn't located right in the spotlight of Hong Kong, the hotel does provide free shuttle service to and from Tsim Sha Tsui, the heart of Hong Kong, where most hotels are located and charging double the prices. Note that most hotels in Hong Kong are not equipped with heating systems, make sure you request additional blankets from housekeeping if you go there during winter. Overall, our stay at Panda was satisfactory.

Though not a great location for shopping or sightseeing, it is a short walk to the MTR and a prompt shuttle is offered hourly. The staff is the strongest asset to the hotel. They were laying needed new carpeting while I was there.

Very convenient to town centre plus all amenities, excellent service to and from Kowloon (free) and Chek Lap Kok Airport (80HK $) only complaint is that the beds are not what you would expect from such a large hotel group.

The Panda hotel was everything it was advertised to be. If I visit Hong Kong again, I would probably stay there and use the MTR which is only about a ten minute walk away to access other areas of the city.

Great hotel at a good price. The location of the hotel is not so great. It's not as close to the MTR as I thought. There were a lot of great restaurants in the area (e.g. Fook Lo Seafood Restaurant, right across the hotel) but most of them don't speak English or have an English menu. I could only eat there with the help of a Cantonese speaking friend. Contrast this with the restaurants in Tsim Sha Tsui. Tsuen Wan is probably a little too Cantonese for the average foreign traveller.
