Hotel Description

A compact fully equipped apartment for the price of a hotel room.

A Small ground floor apartment, forming part of a stone built Victorian terrace. Situated on the banks of the River Kent, in the centre of Kendal, it's within walking distance of most of the attractions and facilities of the town and only 5 min from Kendal Bus and Railway Station
Offering commanding views over the River Kent. A bay windowed lounge with HD LCD TV, Freesat Channels, DVD player. A modern fully equipped kitchen and compact double bedroom complete with an en-suit shower room, small in size but housing a full sized shower cubicle and a powerful multi jet power shower.

The apartment has a separate cloakroom with small washbasin. All bedding, luxury towels, tea towels, kitchen consumables (w/u liquid, kit roll, kit spray, etc) and a complimentary welcome pack - tea, coffee, sugar, fresh milk and biscuits are all included.
The apartment is strictly ‘non smoking’ but there is a small private courtyard immediately outside the front door, with table, chairs and umbrella, which is suitable for smoking. Pets are not usually allowed but please ask proprietor direct as they may be considered with restrictions. Check in is from 3pm and a late checkout of Midday.

Kendal is considered the Southern Gateway to the Lakes so most areas of the Lake District are very accessible from here.
Kendal itself boasts a unique blend of history, culture and a variety of leisure facilities all within its boundary. There’s 14th century Castle Dairy, Kendal Castle, Castle Howe, Abbot Hall Museum, Kendal Museum and a host of churches, chapels and houses built from the 1600’s. There’s the Brewery Arts Centre - a multi-purpose arts complex presenting a year round programme of theatre, music, films, lectures and exhibitions, The Lakeland Climbing Centre - a world-class indoor climbing centre and Kendal Leisure Centre – one of the most diverse leisure and entertainment complexes in Cumbria. There’s also an abundance of quality Shopping, a diverse choice of Restaurants, quirky Tea Shops (some famous) and a multitude of historic public houses.
