Best in Taiwan
This hotel was the best experience we had in Taiwan (and we stayed in 6 places). We were hesitant about 4 days in Tainan at first as there didn't appear much to do. However we ended up wishing we had more time. Our room was huge and outstanding value. The beds were extremely comfortable. There was

space to walk around the room, there was a large sofa and iron and ironing board (which was helpful after 2 weeks travel). The pool was divine, with clean warm water and wonderful day beds to lounge in shade or sun. The service was great. Staff either spoke some English or were inaccurately complimentary about my basic Mandarin skills (or both) and fell over themselves to help us. Food was fantastic with a great range both for breakfast and evening buffet or a la carte. And Tainan proved interesting too, particularly An Ping and the old town. The massage services at the hotel are very expensive but you can get a 90 minute massage for $40 Australian only a 5 minute taxi trip away (just enquire). No MRT in Tainan but taxis are cheap and the hotel staff find you one instantly. They will also order and collect train tickets for you. Wonderful service!

The room is very big and has a nice decoration. The location is also very convenient as it is opposite the train station. Breakfast is great and i would say it is definitely value for $.
