Marriott Hotel Budapest was built in 1969. This is a truly excellent hotel. It enjoys a good location with exceptional service, very comfortable rooms, modern facilities, as well as a selection of eateries. The fact that all rooms provide an outstanding view of the Danube is an added bonus.
Indeed this is the only hotel in Budapest provideing guests a guaranteed Danube view room.
The lobby is medium in size and decorated in warm dark woods giving a pleasant atmosphere. There is a small shop attached to the reception area and a patisserie counter in the centre of the seating area. The whole lobby is particularly welcoming and luxurious. This is a modern building with an outside terrace which overlooks the Danube.
