Value for money
My stay at Ginger Mysore was pleasant and comfortable, the staff were friendly and nice, The place was generally clean except for the dirty mattress lying in the stairwell areas which does not do any favours for the customers, it does not only look bad but gives an idea of the mattress used for guests. The basement had rubbish lying on the floor which could be seen by people using the stairs and no effort was made to clean the area. I wanted to speak to the manager of the place to get them to clean the place but thought i will write in my review. The place is reasonably clean but there is no effort in keeping all of the place clean which is not a good thing. There was no internet available and no effort was made to rectify the problem, all they could say was there is a problem and they have no idea of the time it will get fixed. Overall I would rate it average for a Tata group. To say the place is bad would be unreasonable but it can be improved to make it better and more inviting to first time/repeat customers, The food could also be a little international to make it inviting to international customers. The accommodation is value for money and i would recommend it.
