"Stayed in both a standard and club..."
Stayed in both a standard and club suite. The standard room is of a good quality and the club suite is a real treat to stay in.
The staff at Claridges are very professional and welcoming. They take the trouble to greet you by name and the restaurants are all good. There is a good swimming pool area, the gym is well equipped and the front garden area is a delight to sit in.
As someone who frequently travels and has stayed in many hotels, I would rate Claridges as one of the best I have ever stayed in.

"Hotel is going through remodeling and Management..."
Hotel is going through remodeling and Management was nice to inform customers about some inconveniences. I will not go back to this place again because of unfriendly staff. The reception personnel hardly smiled and unwilling
to help when asked about touring new places. I wish I could have taken a picture of their charming but frowning faces. Location is a bit farther from the airport. Restaurant served good foods and service people were nice.

Good location, easy to find. The room is nice and comfort. It's just need to change the elevator and renovate the outdoor side near the pool.

"I have been in Delhi many times..."
I have been in Delhi many times and tried a few hotels, this one was a nice experience as it is cosy and quiet with state of the art service. We stayed several nights at
The Claridges during our stay in India. The staff were absolutely charming and going out of their way everytime they could. We were always greeted kindly, everything we needed was taken care of. We enjoyed a great jam for breakfast? The chef made sure to hand us the receipe! The hair salon Dessange is clean, service top and the result fantastic, nothing to envy to Dessange in Paris!(for women who need a colour treatment, pedicure while it the treatment's on, don't go anywhere else) The pool is nice, the gardens are pleasant, it was always a treat whenever we got back from our travels to end-up at The Claridges. The duty manager got out of his way everytime to accomodate us best. He will recognize himself if he reads these lines. The restaurants are delicous, the breakfast a nice treat. The hotel has a human size and is so well located. It is set in a very quiet area and it makes a nice hideaway from hot and buzzy Delhi. The deals made available by Asiarooms were fantastic and all in all we had a great experience. Merci to all at the Claridges! Fabienne Bothy-Chesneau and Isabelle Cattelat,May 2009

"Wish we could have spent more time..."
Wish we could have spent more time in the hotel. As we were there for business we did not have time to enjoy all the hotel had to offer, however the ones we did try
were excellent-the chinese and indian restaurants are great, a little pricey perhaps, but you are at a top hotel, the pool area looked great. The staff are extremely friendly without coming accros as superficial, and any issues are solved quickly-we had a problem with shower not draining properly, and this was fixed very efficiently. Not much around hotel within walking distance, but having it's own taxi stand makes it easy to get anywhere from the hotel. And the vodka bar (70 types of vodka) is a great place for an evening out. Would deffinately recommend.

"The small scale garden hotel is placed..."
The small scale garden hotel is placed in a quiet area of Delhi with lots of parks and green boulewards with good pedestrian lanes. Nice access from ground floor rooms to the poolside makes it
a kind of oasis in the heat of the city. Rates included fresh breakfasts with nice variety but the restaurants were a bit expensive.
