Ideal for business
This is my first stay in the hotel and I must say I am delighted. It offers good value considering the overpriced hotel rates generally across India where I have stayed. Perhaps because it is still rather new into its new brand under Metropolitan (previously Nikko)and there are still some (unseen) renovations ongoing. But it doesn't really matter because I enjoyed my stay here. Being newly renovated rooms are very well setup and clean. Most importantly the sheets and towels are new and clean. The breakfast is very good and the Sakura Japanese restaurant offers authentic and good Japanese food, though generally the restaurant prices are very expensive. No complaints..except perhaps the renovation noises that I heard during the afternoon, which is OK if you are out anyway. Overall, I would strongly recommend the Metropolitan Hotel if you are in Delhi.

This hotel is adequate and well located...
This hotel is adequate and well located for commercial areas around Connaught Square, probably best suited to the business man. The included buffet breaksast had a wide range of Indian and International fare on offer. In our opinion the best value meals are never to be had in a hotel & this hotel is no exception. Staff were courteous and efficent at check-in, checkout, travel desk etc. Our first room had an unintended auto flush toilet every 5 or so minutes which meant we had to close the bathroom door overnight. Maintenance attended promptly after raising with hotel staff but were unsuccessful in rectifying. No such problem in our second room after returning from Golden Triangle tour. We didn't use the pool but it appeared well maintained even in winter.

We needed to get shower after Taj...
We needed to get shower after Taj Mahal trip before going to airport.We were done check-out ,so we requested them to arrange a bathroom or shower within extra payment.We couldn't get any positive reply regarding our request and washed our body partialy in general toillet.For 5 star hotel it was not so difficult to arrange an empty room or a shower inside SPA with extra charge.

My family and I stayed for 3 nights here and was imprerssed greatly with all the facilities/politeness of all staff/attention given to us/Service from the Bar Manager and staff/and overall opinion from all of us was we all had a a nice stay here and if given a chance we would stay in this Metropolitian Hotel again

Our first stay at the Nikko was...
Our first stay at the Nikko was spoilt by the fact that even though I e-mailed the hotel directly myself to request an early check in, they told me they had not received my email and as a result they would not give us an early check in and made us wait five and a half hours before letting us check in, which is not good after a 19 hour journey from the UK to Delhi!
Once 12 o'clock arrive the 'official' check in time the staff was helpful but not a minute before.
Once we was allowed to check in our stay was enjoyable, the standards at the hotel was good, and the staff friendly.

We had a great stay at Hotel Nikko.Very helpful and professional staff especially when my friend had an accident and needed medical help.
We got a good price from yourselves but too expensive for food and drink in the hotel,especially with luxury tax (of which we hadn't been warned).
