Booked a Club room. Glad we did....
Booked a Club room. Glad we did. The room and service was excellent right from the meet & greet service at Denpasar airport to the check-in at the hotel and the stay at the hotel itself. Only shortcoming is the fact that with a Club room where you get free snacks and soft drinks 24 hrs/day you can only get them at the the Club lounge, a pain if you're at the pool reserved for Club room guests, this needs addressing. Excellent service from the butler allocated to us (24 hrs/day) right through to the restaurant and bar staff.

My husband, daughter and I stay in...
My husband, daughter and I stay in this hotel during our June vacation. It was a fantastic experience. The staff were true to the words in their mission : You will want to come back again. As a tennis enthusiast, I was delighted to find that they have two lighted tennis court, but maintenance could be better. They claim to have the longest stretch of hotel land, and is a real adventure to travel from one end to the other end. We will certainly go back again, hopefully sooner than later.

I stayed at this resort last week...
I stayed at this resort last week in one of its club rooms and i must admit i was pretty impressed by the level of service rendered by the hotel staff. The location was great, just about 10 to 15 mins drive from the Kuta town. Most of the staff were helpful and friendly except for a few staff who tends to pay more attention to the caucasian tourists rather than serving the asians.

My wife and I spent our honeymoon...
My wife and I spent our honeymoon at the Intercontinental in November 2004 and thought it one of the best hotels we have ever stayed in. We had a Club Intercontinental room which was well worth the additional expense. Free drinks and snacks are available all day long in the club room and there is also a free internet service. The room itself was large and well equipped and had a good sized balcony with a view to the sea. The hotel is set in beautiful grounds and did not seem busy even though it was quite full. The staff are fantastic. Very friendly with excellent English. we shall definitely be returning!

spent about 10 days in November and loved it. great location - Jimbaran Bay is beautiful and very quiet but still easily accessible if you want to go out in Seminyak or Kuta or do some diving on the Nusa Dua side. the rooms are huge but in slight need of refurbishment. the service is excellent and staff as well as locals try their absolute best to make your stay as enjoyable as possible, can't wait to go back.

I stayed in the Intercontinental with my...
I stayed in the Intercontinental with my girlfriend in July 2004. We had a deluxe room with a view of the pool area which was one of the best rooms I have ever stayed in. Complete with DVD player (to watch all the dvds at night that I'd bought in Kuta), beautiful bed and top notch bathroom. The hotel itself is a stunning place. Lonely planet describes it as 'fortress-like', but don't let that put you off. It's gardens are very well kept and the pool facilities are stunning. My major complaint with the hotel is the price of the food and drinks in the hotel itself. Food is about five times more than what you would expect to pay in a small restaurant or cafe in bali, and pizzas by the pool are about $12US. We didn't eat dinner at the restaurants in the hotel as they were too expensive for us, and an excellent choice is the massive amount of seafood 'warung' along the beach, literally about 10 metres from the hotel. The breakfast at the intercontinental is the best I have encountered at any luxury hotel, ever. It was truly terrific, and did not have the same busy and tacky atmosphere as many of the hotel buffet breakfast rooms have. Quite simply, this hotel is stunning, and really gets you away from the hussle and bussle whilst only being 20 minutes from Kuta. It's a beautiful secluded resort more suited for couples than children, but having said that the childrens facilities seemed excellent. The staff were very courteous and even have their own drivers and cars to take you wherever you want to go for $20US per 2 hour block. Go to this hotel for a really fantastic break away. The only cons are prices of food and drink, and a lack of any happy hour which many balinese resorts have during sunset.

One of the best hotels on Bali....
One of the best hotels on Bali. The staff is very attentive and polite. The grounds and pool areas of the hotel are idyllic; well designed, well maintained, and very clean. the main pool has a swim-up bar, with great sunset views. The Club level rooms are the best-try the two-storey rooms. The private Club pool is great, surrounded by frangipani trees. The Uluwatu Spa is wonderful. The beach is clean. The restaurants are many - pick out your fish at Singaraja. Too many other great things to mention. The only place I stay in Bali! Luxury isn't cheap, but this hotel has great value for the price!
