This hotel is totally unique in that it looks like it was built 100 years ago - very solid and impressive, but it is modern and up-to-date inside. The architecture is very traditional Balanise style.
The gardens and pool are wonderful and the setting is ideal for a get-away relaxing holiday. It is right on a quiet beach where you can hear the waves crashing on shore while you eat a wonderful breakfast on the terrace.
The friendly serivice is totally excellent and even the basic rooms are high quality, beautifully clean and the bathrooms are superb.
The location is a little out of town and there is nothing to do at night, unless you catch the free regular shuttle into town (about 20 minutes away.)
I would most definately stay here again - I would go as far as saying, for the price, this is the best hotel I have ever stayed in and would recommend it whole-heartedly.

We spent 10 days in January 2007 in this hotel. Very nice place, beautiful beach for long walks and nice pool wich is big enough to swim.
We used to have dinner in hotel, food was very good and affordable. Close to hotel is restaurant Warung Sobat- excellent food, the best in Seminyak, you need to book table in advance. I would recomend this hotel to everyone, especially during low season,very quiet and nice place.

This hotel gives us a complete resort feel. The best we like about this resort is the room. The room is very spacious, beautiful, with detailed decor and very cosy. It would be great for honeymoon couples, coz the resort is away from the busy and bustling Kuta, where couples can have a quiet and romantic time together. Grand Balisani provides a serene and beautiful garden, perfect for holiday seekers who want to enjoy the pool and relax. The hotel staffs are helpful and friendly too.

We certainly enjoyed our 6 days stay at this spectacular hideout with a lovely beachfront view. The service staff is professional and very helpful. Kudos to all!
i stayed at the grand balisani suites...
i stayed at the grand balisani suites in nov 06 for 3 weeks and i have to say it is one of the best hotels i have ever stayed in!we stayed in a deluxe room and it was large,clean and the bathroom was huge!it has a nice pool and its right on the beach but they do say they advise you not to swim in the sea because of strong undercurrents but people still do and its quite good for surfing as long as your a strong swimmer!!the only downdside is its a little out of the way and you cant walk from your hotel to any other restaurants but they have a regular shuttle to take you in to kuta!i will definitely stay in this hotel again and recommend it to anyone!
The best hotel we had stayed in...
The best hotel we had stayed in Bali during this trip. The hotel has just been renovated. So the room is clean and new. The room size is big with almost everything we can imagine for, the hotel prepared heating pot, sandals and even hair blower. Comfortable king-size bed. And the furniture and interior design is great. The door of each room is decorated with marvelous hand-crafting. The landscape is beautiful. The hotel management purposely kept the ponds and gardens untouched during renovation. The swimming pool is big. The restaurant is built at the spot where we can enjoy our meal while watching the sea wave and the breeze. The breakfast is good, I personally love the bacon here. The hotel is built right beside the beautiful Seminyak beach. We can directly walked to the beach from the garden. The hotel management even prepare a small pond for the hotel guest to wash away the sand after coming back from the beach. The staff is very helpful. They have staff walking around the hotel so that they can provide services to the guest asap. Unlike some hotels which the staff only appears after calling to the operator. Our bathroom door had some problem on the lock for twice in a day and everytime the technicians and the staff quickly come to repair. The lobby man also helped me to park my car when we were checking in. The only disadvantage of this hotel is the location. It's located too deep and felt like isolated. But maybe that's the reason we were not bothered by local salesman while we were walking on the beach watching the sunset. I am surprised it's only 3 star rated by Asiarooms. To me, it's definitely over 3 star.

Very new rooms, very spacious. Twin beds are a tad small, but the room on the whole exceeds expectations, especially for the price paid! Good service all round, smiley personnel. Breakfast is average and not remarkable. Location is removed from the hustle and bustle of town but cheap transport is easily arranged by the hotel. Will stay again.

Great value! Nicely situated right on the beach. Room was newly decorated and large. Friendly staff and very helpful. Had a great stay and will definately return.
