Fantastic! 10/10 Score!
Such a fantastic hotel to stay at. They had excellent activities set-up in the pool area and the swim up bar is awesome. Rooms are clean and beds are fantastic. Great food at the restaurants within the hotel as well. Everything was perfect!
Over-rated room, under-rated pool
The room we were in was acceptable but for a lack of a cupboard. It had an open Ikea-like closet which did not have much space for clothings and considering we were there for 9 nights, there was an absolute lack of storage space for clothes. Air-conditioning was difficult to work out and it seemed to be pretty much stuck at 23 degrees, which was acceptable except for the hottest of days. The bathroom was small, with a corner bath. Maybe they should get rid of the tub and just have a shower facility and make that bigger.
The highlight of our stay was the pool. It was just absolutely amazing and we spent hours there. The kids (4 and 1.5) loved the pool immensely. It was huge so never really crowded. The cabanas around the pool are worth it, especially the ones directly above the pool (8 and 10). Need to book early to get these two. 15 to 17 are fine as well as they are close to the "island" and "beach" where the kids could play. There is also a water playground with a couple of kiddy slides and a big "cup" at the top which tumbled water into the pool every now and again. Near the entrance to the pool are some more slides, meant for kids up to 12 but adults were seen getting on to them as well.
Breakfast was included but I would say it is pretty basic fare, eggs, potatoes, baked beans. The only changes seemed to be you either got chicken noodles or pratha on rotation. Otherwise everything else was standard.
If for nothing else I would recommend this hotel just for the pool. The staff here were also awesome and I would highly commend Ari at the guest reception for arranging everything smoothly for us.

Amazing facilities
I'm truly amazed with HR's facilities. Especially with their swimming pool. It's really huge and gorgeous. A very relaxing and calming atmosphere with music in the background. They also have a private pool exclusively for premium suite rooms. An excellent place to chill out at after a tiring day filled with activities.

good location, very convenient with plenty of local stalls around it. My kids enjoyed the swimming pools very much.
Hard rock hotel Rocks!!
We stayed at Hard Rock in 2009 and as we enjoyed our short stay there for four days, went back again in 2011 to celebrate our 30th Anniversary. We stayed this time round for 8 days and the staff at Hard Rock are simply the best! We have travelled alot and stayed in numerous hotels but the staff at Hard Rock Hotel are amazing, polite, courteous, helpful, pleasant and very efficient. Twice we had very early trips and they arranged Breakfast Boxes for us which we honestly did not expect. The staff obviously have ongoing training and there is not one staff member who we could defaulter. Keep the hard work up! We would most definitely go back, as the location is excellent as well, amenities are fantastic, especially the pool area, gym and Spa.
Great Hotel to enjoy a relaxing holiday. The only disappointment was the balony's are extremly small therefore you are unable to sit outside your room to relaax & enjoy the gadens. There was only enough room for 2 people at any one time to stand at balcony area. We travelled with family whom have a one year old. We didn't find this hotel "pram friendly" & probably wouldn't be wheelchair friendly unless you take the "long way" to Kuta Square. To gain access to the large pool there's a lot of stairs so we needed to carry the pram to get in & out. Security at this hotel is very good. Buffett dinner every night was beautiful & value for money.
