Beautiful Sea View Room
We spent a night in Mercure just to check out Kuta after a week of diving in Amed area. Once arrived, we were greeted by friendly staff. We booked a standard room with garden view but was surprised to be upgraded to a Deluxe Sea View room. The room was facing the famous Kuta beach with a balcony. We spent some time siting on the balcony enjoying the sea view.
The room is clean and nice. The bed is nice with fluffy comforter. But the turquise floor tiles are a bit turn off.
The infinity swimming pool on the roof top is just stunning. Laying on the lawn chair sun bathing while looking over the ocean is just magnificent. Of course the beach is just a step away and plenty of surfers flooding the beach.
For someone who is looking for a peaceful and quiet place away from civilization, this may not be an ideal place to be. However, the convenience of having the beach, dining, shopping, partying area with clean and good standard of hotel room, this is the place to be.
