The only complain about this hotel is toilet, there is no ventilation system. When someone using toilet, its mean another one can't stay in room! :)
Overall i'm very happy with this hotel. Staff are very friendly, very helpful and polite. Location is very near to all shopping place of Kuta Beach. I rated this hotel for 4.75 :)
In general Mercure Kuta was ok. The Superior room is more spacious than the normal 1 double bedroom Ocean View room. But the Ocean View room has a nice balkony. Only the view out of the Ocean View room is of the Hard Rock Hotel!! When you sit on the balkony you can see at the end of the street the beach =(
Swimmingpool is small for the size of the Hotel but very cute and well maintained.
Stayed for 2 nites in February 2007. Directly next to Hard Rock Hotel. Overall OK except for the bathtub which is the only bathing area. Only a the size of a door space for you to 'climb' into the bath tub. Everything in the room looks new except the room flooring and the bath tub. Room was spacious. Value for money.
The location of the hotel was excellent as it was a beach frontage view. But the room was very small. Even the bathroom was very small as well. The staff were not friendly and helpful. Breakfast was bad.
Room quite comfortable, only bathroom a bit small .
Service & swimming pool excellent!! facing sea side, good for couple!
Location consider not bad, hotel facing sea side & many shops near by.
Remember if want to take taxi, please take "Blue Bird" Taxi !

It was a really bad Mercure hotel; they are usually better. Room was depressing; restaurant was not good; service was mediocre and location was not good. Need I say more?!
