interesting location,but slightly over valued
Getting there: Wina is only like a 20 min cab ride from the ngunah rai intl airport. even with traffic its likely to take you about half an hour.
Location:Although the location might seem a bit inside here's where it gets interesting , it is super close to Poppies 2 and and the Club area of Legian and bali bombing memorial. Kuta is also a 5 min walk and kuta square is around a 20 min walk .
It is relatively quiet and only tricky part is if you are unsure about the location at night or need to walk to the location it might seem a bit secluded .
Breakfast.
The breakfast is not bad , altough I've had much better breakfasts at other places for lesser dollar value. begins at 7 and ends at 10.
Good: the hotel has 2 pools so it is ideal for people with families who want to just relax around the pool and go kuta area for shopping.
Bad:Pool does not allow swimming after 8 , so might be a bit of a bummer if you are a party animal.
Most taxi drivers do not know this hotel , so u might have to refer to harris hotel which is on the main road.
Bathrooms are ant infested and might not be the newest , everything seems a bit old and in need of maintainence, but if u dont mind a bit of the old world charm ,its nice.
Internet is to be paid for around IDR 20,000 /hr , it might be nice if they can include in package deal especially for SE asian tourists who constantly need web access.
Tips: use gate behind to access Poppies 2
Walk through the Adhi dharma cottage to access the legian area shopping hub. you will be saving a $5 cab ride every time you do so.
Overall its not bad , but will I return ....not 100% sure , but they are pretty ok. I guess the other hotels in this price range are similar.
