A price of 65 USD does not...
A price of 65 USD does not relate to what you get, they should drop the price significantly.
We arrived at the hotel and directly payed for our hotel transfer (5 USD/Person). Next morning on check-out they said it was not payed. We lost our receipt and it took me 30 minutes to convince hotel management that it had been payed and that they should also carry a receipt, finally they confirmed all was ok.
We were upgraded from a standard room to a 'suite' room due to room availability. On arrival in the room tut there was not much room to move around. The baby-cot looked like a small cage from the King-Kong movie. the bathroom smelled like urine, and my 1.5 year old son managed to take a bath (it already looked dirty) and was able to pull out the whole drain-unit with many many hairs connected to it.
The food in the restaurant and service was very good which is something I would like to add to this review.
We used the Wena Hotel as a 1 night stop over after we would travel else where. Many dutch travel agents work with the Wena Hotel. I have worked in the oilfield for 5 years (Yemen, Tanzania, Nigeria) and have shared toilets and beds with many cultures and am used to allot. But the cleanness of the bathroom at Wena Hotel is something I do not want to see on holidays.

I have booked a deluxe room for 4 night ,first night the bathroom smell terrible,could not sleep.next day I have requested something to be done or move to another room.unfortunately the option I was given is to move to another standard room when I paid for deluxe room. I have seen similar coments in this website about bathroom smell. I have never been to hotel with bathrooms have that strong disagreable smell.I do not recomended this hotel.

Wina, Bali is located at the heart of Kuta, and it is waliking distance to Kuta Beach, and Jalan Legian. This location has made the tourists more convenient when they want to go for shopping, clubing, surfing, or go to the beach. However, the cleanliness in this hotel is not satisfied. Toilet is not very clean, especially bathtub, toilet bowl and sofa which have some stains, and there are lot of flies when we had breakfast at the hotel's restaurant. As for security issue, we need to walk through a small road which has limited lighting and quiet before reach the hotel, which might create some unsafe feeling for tourists.

The place was too crowded for my liking and lacks garden. the pool is situated right next to the open dining area and right in front of many rooms, which gives it less privacy and quietness, but probably best for families with small kids.

I found Wina Holiday Villa, Kuta Beach, Bali surprisingly amazing! I say 'surpisingly', as I booked it the day before I left for Bali, and had reservations, actually due to bad customer reviews it'd been given. However the reasonable cost and location (i.e. Right next to Kuta beach!) Was something that I valued, so I took a chance, booked it ..and ultimately found I could not have been happier with my choice! To be fair, I was upgraded on arrival -which was a huge bonus(!! ;o); but therefore for the price, I thought my room was excellent! Huge four poster bed, with marble-type bathroom, and reasonable facilities i.e. Good air-con., bottled water provided, etc. If wanted to be picky, could mention the room service could be a little slow at times, the internet room was slightly pricey & slow, and the shower pressure was very low. But everything else was perfect -including the location -more or less on beach front; two swimming pools in hotel itself, decent buffet breakfast, generally friendly, helpful staff -all contributing to my wholly positve overall experience! My only real regret was that I'd only booked four nights there ..as I found the hotel, and Bali in general an Absolute Paradise!!! :o) ~I hope that you enjoy your vacation as much as I did!

Great hotel. We got a free upgrade into a deluxe room. The staff was very nice. The location was great; not too far from Kuta beach and it was very quiet. It had a great ambiance; very natural. The only negative thing was the little flies in the room as well as a few mosquitos.

The hotel was an older style hotel...
The hotel was an older style hotel for Bali, very ornate. The grounds and pool area were beautiful. The rooms were lovely and pool and quite spacious, but in great need of some TLC (tender loving care) as they looked a bit tired. The service counter staff were very courteous. The buffet breakfast was fabulous.
