Small, charming hotel in quiet and convenient...
Small, charming hotel in quiet and convenient location of Legian with the beach just 2 minutes walk away. Friendly & helpful staff. Buffet breakfast with Western & Asian food was pretty good. 2 swimming pools but unfortunately the smaller one at the back was not as well maintained as the rectangular pool in front. The tiles looked grimy, water murky with dead leaves. I would definitely recommend to friends & would go there again.

I stayed in the Alam Kulkul resort for 5 days in Jan 2006.
The hotel was very tastefully designed and the staff were very friendly.
The service was excellent, i once arrived after the breakfast was closed, but staff still served a freshly prepared breakfast.
The room was good, clean and spacious.
The both the pools are nice and well maintained.
The beach is easily accessible and less crowded and lesser vendors and only 5 minutes ($1) cab ride to kuta.
I didnt try the inhouse restaurant & Spa as they are bit expensive, as you can have great food and spa at half the price outside.
I would defenitely recommend this hotel for its location, cleanliness, security and the friendly staff.

Nice boutique resort, very elegant and pleasant - swimming pools are small but enjoyable, staff very nice and helpful, standard rooms are already very good in particular those at ground floor facing the second swimming pool.

An excellent small boutique style hotel....
An excellent small boutique style hotel. rooms very clean. dial - up internet connection, staff extremely friendly. great position- opposite kuta beach and a short walk to melasti street, markets,shops and restaurants in legian. would highly recommend for people wanting a quiet holiday. Family rooms are large.Breakfast is of a high standard. Has terrific restauarant at front of hotel called " pappa's restaurant". Have been to bali many times and rate this hotel highly.
