Impressive
The Padma is a very impressive hotel, and serve an amazing breakfast each morning. The only down fall with this hotel is it has no atmosphere around the swimup bars.

padma experience
the seven days that i spent at the padma resort were by far the most pleasant of any hotel that i have been to!!!the people working in the reception were so very helpful..and this goes for the rest of the staff that work there...the facilities were amazing and the location was ideal...i would recommend this hotel to any traveler ..you will not be disappointed!!!i have been to many hotels in bali and im very particular about where i stay this hotel definitely gets the thumbs up..

Hotel is expensive for Bali but the rooms are very good and comfortable the gardens and grounds are very well maintained, staff are very polite and service is excellent,we stayed for ten nights, a delux room for the first seven nights and then we upgraded to a lagoon pool for the last three nights. The airport pick/drop off service was very good and always on time. We would stay there again when in Bali next.

Loved it!
I couldn't recommend this hotel highly enough - it's location, the rooms, the customer service and the buffet breakfast are something else! We have not stayed in a hotel like this before and we have made a promise to stay at the Padma Resort on our return to Bali. The staff are very friendly, helpful and accommodating and the quality of the food - especially the breakfast - was top notch. The grounds of the resort are also really very well kept and beautiful, it is a stunning place. We stayed in a deluxe chalet room not to far from the Lagoon pool and the room amenities were brilliant. If you're planning to base yourself in Legian and want to treat yourself to a great place to stay then the Padma is a must - enjoy!!

beautiful hotel
The Padma hotel is a bit more for relaxing getaway, we had a great stay..the standard rooms are a bit small but are nice..the pools are unreal if you love water this is heaven.. just as you get out the front entrance there are a few nice resturants and a little taste of shopping dvd's etc. So if you are going to bali to chill out its the place to be... peace

Excellent stay
We had a wonderful time. When we arrived, concierge noticed that we were a family with small children and immediately upgraded us to a Garden View Room. This was much bigger than the deluxe room that we had booked.
My 7 yr old son was happy with the Kids Club (which was free!) that he spent many hours there playing with the other kids.
The food there was extensive and good for the breakfast but I feel that their night buffet menus could have been better.
Finally, I would like to comment that they have a wonderfully sculpted grounds. Everywhere you go the gardens looked beautiful.

Renovations made the stay unpleasant
after looking at photos on asiarooms, I was looking forward to staying at the Padma. Little did I know that renovations were underway at the hotel, nothing on asiarooms mentioned a renovation. There are two pools at the hotel, one was not open for use and the other was so crowded if you didnt reserve a seat by 10am there was nowhere to sit by the pool. Then the room that i was given was three doors down from rooms that were being renovated. There were construction workers renovating thd rooms until 7:30 at night!! This did not make the stay enjoyable andi definitely would not recommend thd hotel to anyone. The breakfast was average, the bacon tasted 2 days old and the same with the hash browns

Last minute booking saved our holiday
A very frustrating and disappointing experience with a hotel up the road led to us turning up at the Padma Resort desperately seeking immediate accomodation. From the very first contact we had with the friendly but very efficient security staff at the entrance to the sweet young lady in Reception who managed to find us a room, to the Bell Captain seeing us off on the Airport Shuttle none of the staff could be faulted. They were all really friendly, helpful, happy people and a credit to the resort. We were lucky to get a room overlooking the newly built swim lagoon that winds its way through lush tropical vegetation and were really happy with all aspects of our stay. The resort was fully booked after we took the last room but never seemed at all crowded and service was always immediate. We had an 11pm flight out of Bali and were allowed to keep our room until 2pm. After that our checked luggage was collected and kept securely for us and we were permitteded to stay at the resort and use the facilities. To enable us to have a last minute shower and clothes change we were advised we could secure our carryon luggage in a locker at the fitness centre which is open until 9pm. A free airport shuttle was provided. We cannot think of one negative and highly recommend this resort to all.
