It was the second time we stayed at Alila Manggis and the place is just amazing. The food is pricey but worth every penny, I love especially the breakfast with the baker basket, where croissant and bums are just out of the oven.
The hotel is very secluded but in a very authentic environment to go hiking, village and festival seeing, cycling and diving.

What a pleasure! We booked (our first time Bali) the Alila Experience; 3 days in Ubud and 3 days in Candidasa/Manggis. Far too short. Checking in we immediately booked the villa (Ubud) and the suite nr. 222 (Manggis). Welcome was most attentive. They really took the time to explain all possibilities and arranged a wonderfull programm for us. Mountain biking, that special lunch for two on the beach, snorkling, diner for two - lying down - near the ocean. All perfect. Staff realy deserves a price. Made and Comaing (?) were splendid. We are quite spoiled to say the least but this hotel really met every requirement we have. We should have stayed longer. Food is great, poolservice most attentive etc etc. We'll be back!

This is definitely a boutique hotel nestled in the east of Bali. The pool service was excellent as the staff were very attentive. The moment we decided on the sundecks, the pool staff served us chilled drinks. They even replenished our drinks without us knowing it! The restaurant's service is of int'l standard. The food served were considered high standard in Bali. We also had a special candle-lit dinner along the coast. It was the extra touch that made our stay so comfortable and pampered in Alila Manggis hotel!We'll definitely come back again.

The hotel itself is beautiful, and is constructed and run in such a way that you cannot fail to come away without feeling totally relaxed and pampered. The quality of the service is of the absolute highest standard. The meal we had in the hotel restaurant rates among the best meals out we have had. I will be recommending this hotel to all of my friends going to Bali, and probably to those who aren't as well.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a peaceful and restful stay in Bali. Great swimming pool, great food, and a friendly and available staff. Everybody was very nice with our 1-year-old baby, who was treated like a princess. We will definitely return as soon as possible!
