The service and the staff are wonderful!...
The service and the staff are wonderful! It was the perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of Kuta. If you want a completely relaxing holiday, Alila Manggis is definitely it.

The hotel is good as a short...
The hotel is good as a short getaway for someone looking to unwind and relax (the daybed in our deluxe room was great for vegetating). But there weren't much facilities - there was no gym and the pool was quite small and not conducive for swimming. Still, the food at Sea Salt was good. And service can't be faulted - yes, there were some minor hiccups but overall the level of service was very high.

Nice place, very good staff (good service, friendly). The location is the biggest plus. Great views, sound of the ocean, palm treas, everything you imagine paradise would look like! One minor aspect: we were there 2 years ago and the place didn't look very well kept (tattered roofs, 'spots' on stones etc}. This is absolutely a point of attention. the place is simply too beautiful to neglect.

A very beautiful spot overlooking the ocean, lovely pool, very quiet and relaxing. Not the best food on the island though.

Loved that it was easy and relaxing. We loved the cooking class. We only wished that it was easier to walk into town and that you had a beach which was more accessible. The staff was great and so was the service. The food was excellent. Thank you for making our first visit to Bali an enjoyable and memorable one. Forrest Hong

We have really enjoyed our stay there...
We have really enjoyed our stay there which was 16 days. The people are very friendly. The hotel and the location is perfect: clean and green. Unfortunately it is very isolated so that you need always a driver to see Bali (this is charged extra). The beach as well the sea are not inviting to swim as it is black sand and very stony. The spa is wonderful. We would go there again if we would like to relax and to enjoy the nature. We would recommand it for people who are interested in calm and relaxed holidays.
